        what's the point 4 os update in a midrange when the user will change their phone 2years later for better performance or better efficient chip with new feature and last for better value since battery/display etc still good

        there is no value in 4 years used midrange phone.since battery will have poor life display will have a shadow/etc sound get awful

Any cheaper Samsung phone from 2022 onwards will receive minimum 2 years of OS updates (that means A03, A04, A13, A14, etc.). 4 years for mid-rangers and flagships (that means A33, A34, A53, A54, etc).
                          And is not only about software updates, is about the whole Ui experience. Chinese Ui's are just lottery. People accepted that risk in the past, because they had attractive prices. Nowadays when the prices have gone up, but the software experience remained the same risky experience it was in the past, people just moved to other brands.
                          You can't buy respect and trust, those are earned. Somebody needs to tell this to Chinese manufacturers.

                              rizki1, 03 Apr 2023Samsung fans only rely on software support, which is only 1... moreMost Samsung phones have Ois in midrange even some Budget phones, they come with Ip67/ip68 water resistant, few years Ago Chinese brand were known to provide value especially in low end, but its normal now to see Samsung phones offer more perfomance at certain price point than Chinese devices, Phones like A14/M14/F14 5G offer best Soc in its Category, very few Chinese phone come close, also the like of F23/A23 in many markets offer better value. That plus Mature software, updates, Unlocked bootloader phones, Dex Support etc made people buy them.
