My S23 had issues focusing, I could see it struggling to focus prior to the update. It's completely gone now. Focuses perfectly."
So fixed or not ??? please give your experience

TheAlienNextDoor, 04 Apr 2023Look up Redskulls video where he compares the regular S23 t... moreBut I don't have to look at the videos. I have S23 Ultra, and GF has 14 PRO. I understand, that not always one phone wins. But as for basic JPGs 12Mpix out of the phone, well in most situations pictures from Samsung look better, or at least not worse only until you zoom in. Then, for me, the level of detail is better on the iPhone. Not talking about sharpening applied, I'm talking about details. And this is the case for almost most of the videos out there. You compare pictures that are shown on the videos as thumbnails. In that case, overprocessing and oversharpening from Samsung looks ok.
But as for me, pictures that look good on the smartphone screen you can have from many phones on the market. With the price tag that S23 Ultra has, I expect more. I don't have a problem that someone prefers S23 Ultra pictures more - that's fine. I'm happy with the quality of Samsung photos, but only when using GCAM. It has mature processing, with no halos or other artifacts that are visible in normal Samsung photos.
Again, don't take my words for granted. Go to GSMArena reviews, and open similar photos from both devices. Or use their tool where you can compare photos 1:1. I am more than happy to provide examples, of what I don't like about pictures in S23 Ultra.
Again, it is my personal opinion. Everyone can feel or like whatever they want.

S23U, I've installed April 1 update, but there was no word on camera improvements and I can't find new features described in this article. So I assume there was no update for camera.

Still they talk about it all the time, because they need to find something to complain about in Samsung or Apple phones. This are the so called haters. Never owned a Samsung or Apple phone in their lives, yet they are somehow the most experienced ones in these phones. Lol.

Don't listen to his narration though because he's basically blind. Just look at the pictures. The base S23 absolutely destroys the iPhone 14 pro, mostly because of processing. Especially in low light, from 9:20. The best comparison is at 9:42...OMG the iPhone picture looks not just trash compared to the S23 but looks trash in general. Pure garbage.

90% of people will most likely buy a case and screen protector, iPhone isn't so great either in durability (weight doesn't help them either).
No phone is 100% durable, no matter what they advertise.

xXxtremeboy, 04 Apr 2023Guys I was trying to find any Bugs report on the problem I ... moreThat's definitely a rare bug. You'll have to keep trying reporting issue via Samsung Members, otherwise they won't see it unless you take the phone to a repair center.
If the issue keeps happening, keep the S Pen off and those settings until they see it and fix it with next updates.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2023Agree. The recent Samsung phones have all failed durability... moreyes, this is a fundamental design flaw in almost all phones with curved screens that come onto the market.
the new design motto of the mobile phone manufacturers is "form over functionality and usability".
We get nice looking devices but they are a burden for the user. then you have to buy a horrible thick protective suit so that the expensive device doesn't break into thousands of pieces at the first slight fall,
the result is that i end up with a brick in my pocket.

even with a new phone, I always do this before I actually use it.
It's a bit more work but I have a clean installation.
In the production in the factory, no standard installation procedure is carried out, but the operating system image is "transferred" a million times...
