I had Moto 30 neo and I was happy a part of cameras and videos, moreover I have changed for Moto edge 40 and I'm more than happy.

Put a headphone jack and microSD card slot in it, and I'd think very seriously about replacing my Sony phone for this one. I had the chance to try out Ready For and it makes me wonder why I should buy a Chromebook laptop at all in the first place.

I feel the moto edge 30 ultra is still a great deal. With almost same features and image better camera setup. I got mine just a few days back and I'm loving it.

Motorola edge 20 pro was a nightmare to own, way too buggy (and stayed such for year and a half I owned it) so I doubt I'll be giving motorola another chance any time soon

Moto ready go vs Samsung dex.
Moto is better.
But only one problem with both desktop mode. No Android TV app. Since now 80% with ATO version above 9 don't have meracast. It been six month since i suggested an Android app for tv to both company. Need us to either buy meracast dongle or buy expensive smart tv which support meracast.
Moto Update is worst.
Moto need native Dailer app, Native Gallery App.
Camera is OK camera to same segment price range but it is to yellowsish. Can be solved but gcam or ported camera app.

I am pretty sure that I can unlock bootloader as well and install custom rom, correct me if I am wrong. I can't do that with a USA Galaxy A54.

Expensive phone with no support, probably not my next phone, edge 30 ultra with 3 years android update support still driving android 12, the other brands prepared for Android 14. Right now in this moment many fabric try to support there customer with more android update, we can see there are many smart phone from flagship to midrange and... Are the same good camera, more ram, storeg, screen quality. And people like me need support not only buy expensive phone with no update. Maybe is funny, but Motorola will stop like, LG, HTC...

However, Amazon Renewed Store does sell it below $500. In fact, it's currently selling for $449 with the same 8/512 unit. At this point, I can't see any reason to get the Samsung Galaxy A54.

In the USA, the Edge+ 2022 (which is essentially the USA version of Edge 30 Pro) with 512GB internal storage can be officially yours for $499. Seriously, you can check that on Motorola's official Amazon store.

No Headphone jack
No Micro SD card slot and way too expensive for base storage price. Maybe if it sold for $800 for at the very least 512GB but I would be comfortable with 1TB. "but that's too expensive for us to make a profit", then add a Micro SD card slot. Plain and simple. I don't need fast UFS storage for media files. I can put those on my SD card.
Not a huge fan of a curved screen. Can't wait to spend a ton on screen protectors.

too tall, no 3.5mm an has curved edge screen = no way, no thanks not even for free.

it seems to me they are referring to Motorola.
Also, at the end of the article, it says "By the way, we have the Moto Edge 40 Pro in for review so expect a detailed report soon."
But they have already done the review. So maybe this article was written some time ago, but got published late.
