For example it means i would need to wait new OS version months, if i'm actually lucky even get one 😅 with walled garden, i will get this iOS17 day one when it's available, i like that a lot! Both have pros and cons, i just like Apple walled garden pros more.

I really don’t get most of the people replying here.
I’ve been a big Android boi since I got my first smartphone the HTC Wildfire, and since then used pretty much every Android flagship until my last one S22p.
I mean so many people here say how bad iOS is, but honestly, I just moved to the iPhone 14 pro, and I got to say, this is by far the best mobile device I held in my hand. I’m pretty technical, and love to (ab)use any functionality given to me, so far anything I wanted to ever do on my Android device I’ve successfully done on my iPhone, with more ease, and better in most cases.
And I’m not even talking about the default level of privacy you get on iOS due to latest additions like advanced data protection.
Of course you can get a much higher privacy on a custom clean ROM for an Android device, without installing google services, but I’m not a 16yo anymore, and don’t have that much time on my hands to mess around with my daily driver phone, losing features due to root, and essentially doing the work my phone developer should.
On stock Android from any major company the state of privacy is way worse than on iOS, both because of goggle and the phone manufacturer.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is if you’re shouting Apple sux so much, you probably never did your homework, and have no idea how things are actually like on iOS.

” Does Bluetooth drain your phone’s battery? No.
Having Bluetooth turned on all the time won’t drain your battery any more than having Wi-Fi on when you’re not connected to a network directly.

This widespread misinterpretation has a lot of people turning off their Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when they are not actively using them, to save their phone’s battery power.

The problem with this false fact is that Bluetooth only uses your phone’s battery when it is being actively used. And even then, thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the consumption is negligible (between 1 – 3 % per day).”

Keeping Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on all the time have around zero effect to battery life, atleast with iPhone, don’t know maybe Android is very bad in this area too? You can get lot bigger effect just lowering screen brightness 1%. But if you want to keep turning them on and off all the time for no reason, that’s your choice 😅

Also keeping Bluetooth on have zero effect for battery life if it’s not connected to any device and if it is it means you are using it and it needs to be on :)

Looks like clueless Android boy need to do some research next time 😁

You should control everything and not apple.... moreIt’s very handy, let’s not forget most smartphone users don’t know much about smartphones or tech. So if they for example turn off Bluetooth and then they want to use AirDrop or AirPlay etc. They wonder why it doesn’t work, but with this feature it will work. I see this feature have lot more positive impact than negative, but of course can’t please everyone. I personally couldn’t care less i always keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, why turn off important core phone functions.

And I highly doubt the majority of iPhone users know (much less care) what MIUI is.

No ground is being lost though and both platforms being as mature as they are at this point are closer than ever in terms of capabilities, sure they still each have their strengths and weaknesses versus the other, but maybe the problem with the comments sections on this site isn’t the platforms the comments are aimed at, but the biases of those posting them 🤔

Also, the interconnecting between different Apple devices is flawlessly. I like also the fact that when a software update comes, no matter where you are in the world and no matter what iPhone model you have, you will receive the update at the same time.
But true, Android phones do some things better. As a foreigner living in another country, I need a good multilanguage keyboard (iPhones, I don't know why, do not give predictive text in multi languages, only in the language set for the iPhone), a good translator app, a good maps app. And Android have better apps for this. Thankfully, all Google apps can be downloaded on iPhones.
Also, Photos app on iPhones is not so good compared to the Gallery app on Samsung phones for example.

i have to use an iphone against my will... 😂
so, i am hoping for an android-like experience - like wifi and bluetooth toggle be working like on android - no need to totally turned them off from settings app... though, a workaround is to use shortcuts...
also hoping for an out of the box transfer to other nonapple devices, instead of using third party app...
i am quite happy with their widgets and dedicated app drawer (so i can have a minimal homescreen)...
the more they get to be like android and to connect better to androids and windows, it would be easier for android users to switch, and vice versa...

In reality it's completely opposite, Apple is stronger than it's ever been.

"That being said I don't see salty Android fanboys, why would they be salty?"

I really don't know, but they fill every single Apple article with their useless comments which doesn't bring anything to discussion. They just repeat same posts over and over again.
