Many other brands gives more updates but mostly bug fixes only just like samsung.
Using Mi 11 lite 5G for almost 2 years and never had a problem with xiaomi phones.
    Stop blaming for nothing.
This aint samsung who sells equally same device for 100-200 more price without case, charger and worse specs.

Fine then, my 12 Lite that's upper mid-ranger is above 350€ right now and has just 2 android updates, does that seem fair? Not to mention that even A34 gets 4 years of updates that's weaker than my phone.
And for all of you saying how MIUI is smooth and stable, stop lying. It's far away from being stable, it is smooth but nothing like One UI or iOS smooth.

My phone is now RN10 5G, I can rate it 9/10 MIUI 13 and MIUI 14 is coming soon with Android 13. It's got Android 2 times upgrade and it's a cheap phone.

Rosso, 09 Apr 2023So....SO much wrong and full on incorrect with this. Let... moreTyping this from a Mi9T:

While the phone still functions well for me, I am considering switching phones precisely because of the lack of software and security updates. I'm someone who keeps their phone for years, so having to use banking apps on a phone which had its last security update on August 2021 isn't particularly great.

Even on a midranger, anything less than 4 years is absolutely unacceptable. Any "ultra phone" that boasts about performance while not providing at the very least 6 years of updates is ridiculous, especially considering the prices.

We're at point where we're reaching the limits of how small we can make silicon chips and we keep getting diminishing returns each generation. Pretty much any flagship made in the last 5 years could still run smoothly, not just now but for a few more years too if not for manufacturers' needs to make that sweet cash money by selling you a new, shiny toy.

People love to hate on Apple, but on the Android side the only one matching their software support is Fairphone. Samsung's, Google's, Xiaomi's and others' efforts on software updates are not nearly enough.

Maybe I would recommend this phone not bothering about minor complaints or cons as a flagship device even its a mediatek chipset if I found it is a competitive price. It is an alternative of qualcomm chipset but with less price range ofc.

Yeah, It does not the case not everyone gonna be interesting and not bought this device despite it is an expensive phone to get for at least it is a flagship.

Rosso, 09 Apr 2023So....SO much wrong and full on incorrect with this. Let... moreI agree with you as ive own many of xiaomis mid rangers to high mid rangers to their flagship, no ads, minimal to no bugs. Ive used the mi 10 ultra, it aint buggy, just limited apps to install as it was a chinese version so i ditched it. My mi 11t pro heats up fast so i ditched it.
Now im enjoying my mi 12t as my gaming phone and interbet browsing and s23 ultra for photos/videos and multimedia.

Let's start with obvious one, only Xiaomi phones that will get 1 year of updates are ones that are like 100 euros, the 12 and 13 series got promised 3 years of updates which is only one less then Samsung, even midrange Mi 9T from 2019 got 2 android updates.

Bloat once more mostly applies to cheapest ones, and especially ads, and my man, you are using android device, made by Google, and you worry about spyware from Xiaomi? If spyware is something you are worried about, you would stay 10 miles away from any Android or iOS phone.

Next is MIUI being buggy, which only really applies to budget devices in most cases, I barely had any bugs on my old Mi 9T (over the 3 years I used it, I don't think I have experienced more then 10 bugs) and my current 12x is very bug free, I only encountered two bugs in span of 6 months, all of which feel reasonable and far from extremely buggy.

Basically all problems you described really only appliy to cheapest phones Xiaomi makes, which T series isnt (tho they seem to get worse end of the stick with all of this compares to full on flagships, probably because of budget cuts, but still far from how you described it). It really seems all people who complain about Xiaomi either only used cheapest devices from few years ago, when all budget phones had such issues, or are just saying what people who did that say.

It is longer yes, but I wouldn't say "a lot longer", so in case of 13T Pro, it would actually be same length in the end compared to S22.

If that be the K50 Ultra then it be with 2mp macro cam in Europe for something 700 euro considering just Xiaomi 13 is around 900
So i dont actually care in these high prices there are nothing i can't live without by switching to brands that now are cheaper prices on flagships like S23 is 100 euro less then Xiaomi 13

S22 can be get like 600 and it probably drop to around 550. Good time to buy a good compact size phone in modern standards in phone physical size.
And you know at least with S22 you still get all updates for a long time and a lot longer then with the 13T Pro

Xiaomi could implement intel i9 and nvidia 4090 in their phones they would still suck because of glitchy OS full of bloatware, adware, spyware with 1 year of updates. They are okay in 200-500$ price range, anything out of that belongs to other manufacturers who know how to make a phone👍

Improve software stability and support, stop forcing hardware every time.
