it has been a great decision that i used youtube vanced for 4 years.
such an great app, i feel bad for the people who created such state of the art app.. iirc they got that cease and desist because google's "legal reasons"
now i have to resort to alternatives that gave me the similar feature to vanced. atleast i want the background play to work, which is newpipe.

I have always found it odd that people are willing to pay for Netflix, but won't pay for YouTube.

The recommended offline viewing videos has been a thing for months now (gives you a list of videos you'd like to download for offline viewing). Think you get some special offers at times for things too like with google one.
You might possibly get some higher bit rate modes for certain resolutions and i think you get access to more youtube premium series stuff (not sure though because i dont watch that stuff).

I love the smart downloads and queue recommendations in YouTube music. It is much more convenient than YouTube app if you want to listen music as it offers better control and larger catalog.

Plus, it comes with YT Music so I don’t have to pay for other paid music streaming services.
