You get ad blocking and other premium stuff with YT premium like YT music sub.

I can't find any of those on the PlayStore. I don't install anything if it's not on the PlayStore.
Also, you can listen to YT videos with Termux + ytfzf (no ads, background play, can download the videos). Viewing yt in the terminal is kinda nerdy thought 😂

I hear about YouTube premium for the first time. What is that? Is it just YouTube without ads? Because you can use an adblocker.

It's all depend on how much you use Youtube for daily work and entertainment. Not having ads is a great feature if you are watching a long video. Also, the PIP and Screen off playback plus its come with Youtube Music so no need to pay for Spotify.
