The company might stick to physical buttons, after all.

        Off topic:

If the iPhone 15 line up stays the same at 4, rename the Plus to Max and Pro Max to Ultra. Discontinue the iPhone14 Pro Max, 14 Pro, 13, 13 mini, and 12. Drop the price for the 14 Plus to $699 and 14 to $599. Keep the SE3 for now until Spring 2024 to replace with SE4 that recycles the 13 mini shell with A16 or A17 Bionic at either same price of $429 or increase price to $449.

Suppose i'll have to take your word on that, as i don't tend to frequent any comments sections regarding Chinese smartphones. I certainly don't see that much of that bahaviour in the articles i do read.

Also, I don't remember saying anything bad about Chinese smartphones from a hardware perspective. Now I won't pretend to be a fan of the software they bloat their devices out with, and their inability to go 5 minutes without announcing / releasing devices and minor variants baffles me. From a hardware standpoint though, I'm sure they are fine, as good as any other.

These're a long out of touch now, where these created much hypes previously. I'm talking about true flagships. They got so much attention recently. Solid-State Buttons are honestly a nice thing to have if executed perfectly.

Look at HTC's Phone for example, some phones are "dead" because the power button couldn't function. They can turn out Useful at best, and a gimmick at worst.

                it would have been mistake,
capacitive buttons require to feel the electricity in the skin to work,
it would make it useless when the skin is wet or if you are using gloves

Having capacitive buttons is one of the things i want in my dream phone. working in conjunction with ambient light to not have misclicks.
It's a big project, no wonder Apple is thinking twice and ironing things out before mass production.

Please do elaborate because I only see it creating more problems and make things more complicated and add another part that can't be replaced by third party repair shops because it also has a serial number. You have basically said pretty much the same thing I did just in a far more convoluted way, Apple tends to wait until technology is at a more mature point of development yes. And as you have said this will apply to ‘some’ of those points you mentioned. Where it comes to camera resolution Android oem’s have themselves been bouncing back and forth on that forever. With various models featuring 16mp one year and 13mp the next, 64mp one year and 50mp the next, and so on. Hell, the S23 ultra has 92 extra megapixels in its main rear sensor versus the s22 Ultra because you gotta love those megapixels right. Yet it also has 28mp fewer in its selfie camera compared to the S22 Ultra because…well megapixels aren’t everything I guess 🤷

Where you ultimately loose me is the ‘ the only thing that apple excels is "advertising" ‘ as that is your opinion only and you are no authority on how well features are or will be implemented on Apple products

have you heard about kunlun glass? solid state or silicon carbon batteries? how about the "rapidly" improving fast charging tech?
remember when some apple fans say "12mp is enough" when others are bumping resolutions (given that resolution is not everything, it is still something)... so, why do apple fans rejoiced over 48mp? so, now others use 200mp, apple fans downplay at it again?
oh, wait, apple will eventually have that 200mp if it "will work as advertised"?
well, the only thing that apple excels is "advertising"... so, i guess that is the point... sooner or later, they can "advertise" faster charging, higher resolution camera, a glass sturdier than kunlun, and more to come...

You don't know much about Apple? Apple never do things like this, when they add something they make sure it's there for reason and they also make sure it's something users want to use. Apple doesn't add things just because they can.

Don’t we know it, they seem to announce / release new variants on the hour. Seriously when the naming convention goes something like ‘Redmi’ and ‘Note’ and ‘12’ and ‘Pro’ and ‘+’ you know it’s taking things a bit too far.

I’d imagine they have their share of issues though, but things move so fast in the Chinese smartphone world not enough attention gets paid on any particular model. As soon as one is released at least two or three more have been announced.

Where Apple is concerned any little hint of an issue gets blown way out of proportion, to read the comments on this site is to think iOS is a buggy non functional, non usable mess. My own personal experience though having used every version of it over the past 4 years is quite the opposite.

And before anyone starts, I’m not saying iOS doesn’t have issues, all software does. What I am saying though is I don’t see the vast majority of the reported problems on either my own, my family’s or the devices of people I see on a daily basis.
