Jade, 12 Apr 2023What about Touch ID?We have fingerprint. Its literally the same on iphone they just give it a different name to sound more advanced or confuse you into thinking that its way more of something when its literally the same thing.
Iphone has face id which is the same as facial recognition in android. Just that android isnt really secure with the facial. While with fingerprint it is.
Iphone is secure with face id. But idk about fingerprint, since i think i saw a vid of how to go through it with fingerprint.

DaFink, 12 Apr 2023Not always the case, but yes the vast majority of the time ... moreEven Chinese makers are getting stable final products recently. Apple needs to save its ground soon enough. The Chinese oems are a lot more serious a about premium devices recently.

There are cons indeed but to me, having solid-state buttons, the phone will have better water resistance and the buttons won't fall off after a lot of use/time.

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2023will only implement "when it works as advertised"... moreNice try, only not really. My actual words were 'once they are confident they will work as advertised' and I also stated that nobody is perfect and issue's can arise.
If you are going to try to use somebody's words against them, my suggestion would be to get their words right in the first place perhaps 🤷♂️

And this is why Apple will perfect the solid state button. They actually think about how the user might be affected by it to perfect the experience.
Meanwhile, the Android copycats will make solid state buttons for the sake of saying they have the flashy new Apple feature, but without the proper R&D, it will be a lackluster, if not horrible, experience, being worse to use than the buttons their predecessors had.

If the Pro models will get like a "new" chip and usc-c i wonder what "innovations" they'll put in the vanilla models ahahaha display is the same 60Hz, chip will be 1yr old, same design, same lightning port etc you'll be better off buying a 14 Pro with a nice discount

Don't understand these comments. Instead of being happy that apple failed to implement this evil feature, they're unhappy because there's less change? Do these people really want something as horrible and anti-cosumer as solid state button?

UltraHD, 12 Apr 2023As i said some people are reporting to have these issues, i... moreOh so you don't even own iPhone, that explains it all 😅
Trust me if you believe everything read online you would never buy any Apple product. you need to understand that there's over one billion iPhone users in the world. Of course with every update someone gets problems. Also Apple have their support page, where people can report their problems and it's very popular, no-one else have anything like that. So every problem with Apple devices get reported, it's just the way how it's always been.
Also even if you would have some problem with the OS it's not like you will have all of them. If you use Google you find bugs and problems with every single phone no matter if it's Android or iPhone, it's impossible to avoid, because people use these devices so differently with all the 3rd gadgets and so on.
i remember when i switched from Nokia to iPhone many many years ago and read how much problems the iPhone 3G had, i thought i should never buy iPhone, in reality it (3GS) was best working phone i've ever had, i used it until 5s. Without hardly any problems.
Trust me, don't stay away from iPhone because the stuff you read online, do you seriously think iPhone users would be most satisfied customers year after year with all those problems? No way! In reality iPhone works really well year after year
