LG Optimus 4X HD gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update

My current version is v20c, things that i saw:
Battery: the battery life is equal or less than before. Really sucks!!!
Phone temperature: when running heavy apps(like games for example), is less too, not overheating like always does with ICS... bah!, it´s not like the phone don´t overheating at all, but i think now runs more "fresh".
Apps: all running fine, more efficient and fast, facebook and camera runs a little bit slow only when starts it, all the rest are fine or better.
Games: less lag than before, i notice this with games like Real Racing 3. In other words, improved performance in this point.
RAM: it´s like a very fucked up junkie with 1oz of coke... consumes memory like hell, result in a strange case because the phone runs great with no big problems.(must cleanse more often)
Wi-Fi: improved connection.
I guess i was lucky, agree with the idea of better upgrade in a near future with more improvments in a more stable version.
PD: sorry for my poor english, grammatically grose... I´m for Argentina and almost speaks my own language fine and correctly hahaha!!!!(not really)

Can anyone confirm absolutely that a factory reset after upgrade will fix the crashing, lagging, increased heat and battery drain that has been mentioned?
Has anyone who reported these issues done the factory reset and found these issues resolved?

everything starts crashing after upgrade. The built in gmail crash 100%. Always needs to start it twice
It's getting slower than ever. The only improvement I'm happy with is the Email Application for MS Exchange, it gets smarter. But all in all:
+Much slower. Many times frozen.
+not enough memory
+Slower in taking pictures
+ Battery life - getting hot and discharge just after few hours!

I updated my p880 (in germany) just over a month ago and at first everything was fine, i noticed improvements all over the placemost of all the improved touch, but about a week after the update i started getting crashes and i know its the software as i was still able to shut down the phone normally, and to me it seems the longer ive had this update the worse it gets, i have to restart my phone almost every time i use it so my advise, if anyone reads this before updating: DONT INSTALL, wait for the next update, i wish i had...

yeah jelly bean is most 3rd class in optimus 4x..it has many bugs..optimus 4x runs smooth on ics

bob, 07 May 2013hey if u find out wen canada is saposed to get the update l... moreDon't upgrade, it's not worth it. The phone lags a lot more than it did with ICS even after a factory reset. Many apps now crash anytime when you launch them. Battery perfomance did not improve either. I would downgrade if I had the time to look around for the firmware but I guess I will have to wait until LG releases a new firmware that fixes these issues soon (and not in a year).

Finally got the update in the UK via the LG PC suite. Unfortunately an apparent issue occurred during the update and then phone soft bricked from the official update method. 8 hours of digging around later and manually flashing through, i can now enjoy jelly bean in all it's glory. Cam improvements and butter are by far the most noticeable.

It runs about the same as it did with ICS. The only problem I have with is that massive memory usage increase. When I would clear the tasks with the ES task killer widget and the supertask killer widget I could get 580-600mb of free memory when running ICS 4.0.3 With the new jelly bean rom Im lucky to get 390mb, Where is the 200mb of memory gone ??

Got the Jelly bean update.Battery life,touch sensitivity improved.The device getting hotter than ICS.Proximity sensor malfunctioning sometimes.

well on v20c everything is awesome except for 1 thing the phone temp reaches 41 ... its really overheating -.- when i was using ICS 4.0.3 the max temp was 32 or something thats with games ... anyone got this problem too ?
