LG Optimus 4X HD gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the LG Optimus 4X HD has finally started to seed.

Anyone from switzerland has got it? Someone? It's been a long wait and i think that what is really missing in this phone ( aside LTE) is jelly Bean.I've contacted LG support here and they don't know absolutly nothing.Keep directing me to LG PCsuite program or update tool. No dates, nothing at all. It's realy a mess with LG updates.

    Any idea when this is coming out for the Canadian market? I'm with Wind and I've been waiting for this for a long time now.

                            Flashing Instructions

                            Charge your phone to 100% and backup all your data

                            Download the firmware and the necessary USB Drivers from here :
                            http://www.smartphenom.com/2013/01/lg-firmware-update-central-beta.html

                            Install the LG USB drivers on your PC

                            Download the LG KDZ Update Tool and install it on your desktop computer from here :
                            http://www.unclenet.de/files/KDZ_FW_UPD_EN.7z

                            Make sure the Microsoft XML parser is installed on your PC (it use to be). If it's not, install it from the .7z file you've just downloaded in step 4 then

                            restart your computer

                            Remove the battery, wait for 30 seconds then hold the "Volume Down" button and plug the original USB cable supplied with your phone (connect the phone to your PC) till the "S/W Update" appears on the screen.
                            now insert the battery and release "Volume Down" button

                            Let windows load the USB drivers, wait until it finishes completely

                            Unzip and Run the KDZ Update Tool (from step 4) as Administrator

                            Run Windows Enabler (from step 4) as Administrator and click on its icon in windows notification area on your task-bar to turn it on

                            Configure Type=3GQCT and Phone Mode=DIAG

                            Pick the firmware (.kdz) file you downloaded in step 2

                            Click on “Launch Software Update” button and wait for completion (it will take some time about 8-12 minutes , do not interrupt this process or you may brick your phone)

                            Wait until this lines appears
                            "1421 : CDMA: wParam = 2004, lParam = 99
                            1421 : Model Dll Msg Not Found(2004, 99)
                            1423 : CDMA: wParam = 2004, lParam = 100
                            1423 : Model Dll Msg Not Found(2004, 100)
                            1423 : CDMA: wParam = 2001, lParam = 0
                            1423 : Model Dll Msg Not Found(2001, 0"

                            When the update is complete, you'll read "Finished" in the log dialog of the Update Tool. Your phone will then reboot into the new firmware version (the first boot will take longer than usual)

                            If you did everything correctly, your phone must boot into the new software version. Enjoy the new features and share your experience in the comments section below!

I made anoter clean install but got worse benchmark.but that wont bother me I never play games,I only hope camera is better

                                Im an LG P880 Optimus4X HD user from Iran .
                                I download the European JB 4.1.2 version (V10A)
                                there are some improvements as i mention bellow

                                1- Adjustable Brightness panel and Auto correction in notification bar witch is very useful
                                2- Bring Android Beam combined by NFC feature
                                3- Native Task manager witch works just FINE
                                4- Native Application manager From LG that Updates Phone Features Automatically
                                5- Native File Manager From LG it self
                                6- Face Unlock feature with Liveness check
                                7- Fast Screen Rotation and improvements
                                8- New Camera app with Fast Brilliant Focus
                                9- New Weather app from AccuWeather
                                10- Email and SMS notifications become Awesome and i really mean it
                                11- App Info in notification bar just by holding touch on the app , that is a great shortcut
                                12- Rotatable Dial-Pad Screen
                                13- Front key lights on only by touching their area not every where else
                                14- Lots of new Font Types
                                15- Lots of new HD Background and Wallpapers
                                These are what i noticed so far in last 2 days

                                But the problems :

                                1- I did not notice any Battery improvements
                                2- i think processor power depends on battery . when the battery is lower than 20% it slows down but by full battery everything works just fine and so fast .

                                if any one find out any other new differences or features please inform me

                                  AnonD-131202, 07 Apr 2013and please can anyone tell me what are the differences betw... moreV20A is the Global version but the V20E is middle eastern . the difference is only in interface language witch the E version contains PERSIAN for Iranian Users.
                                  P.S both version support PERSIAN for SMS .
