Since components are not fully delivered at once, but batch by batch, it means production is higher than 13 mini. Consequently Apple is selling more of it.
People here demand small phones. But do not buy.
Then make lame excuses like lack of same cam setup of 6,7" phone, lack of 5000mAh battery. Also claim phone should not be over $400.
In the end they buy the 6,7" screen.
Apple killed mini for not selling as much as iphones 12/13.
Sony killed compacts for not selling same amount of larger versions.
5,2" version of S23 with same cameras but just smaller screen and maybe 3300mAh would be by far last in units sold. Even if for $500.

One is good, google make compact ( 6 inch +) good quality phone, just need start use sd chip sets and will be perfect.

Also, the main problem with the minis has been battery life, which could easily be fixed by making the phones slightly thicker to accommodate a bigger battery (like what Apple did with the 13 mini compared to the 12 mini, but for power users that wasn't enough).
The fact is that companies make more by selling you a more expensive phone, so the smaller phones are always made purposely worse in some way to make you upgrade to the "better" option (the model they really want you to buy) for "just a bit more".

Hi,
I prefer my Pixel 5 to the Pixel 6a I recently bought. The P6a is is not a compact phone whereas the P5, ZenFone 8 or 9 are.
I won't be buying a pixel 7 or 7a or 8 as they just too big.
Not a fan Samsung so S22 or S23 are out.

CasualPerson, 13 Apr 2023some people have small hands.That's true, but it's not the only reason. For example, some people also have mobility issues or chronic pain. There are a lot of reasons to prefer small smartphones. The market providing very little offer and actively choosing to ignore these consumers is very sad to see.
