blue, 13 Apr 2023More like 5 mm at least, because they always make thick borders.Iphone 14 borders are pretty large too, so we'll see who was closer to the truth when the phone is out.

Hanif Fikri, 13 Apr 2023i need 7inch phone!No you don't, you need glasses 😁
You have the option of 8pro at 6,7 inch (or any other brand with big screens), why don't you want us who want a smaller phone to have an option too? Why so selfish?

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2023I prefer small phones but because most phones are big these... moreI still have no reason to upgrade from a Nokia 8. Simply compact and practical.
Plus that phone still gets Google play updates despite its age

CargoJoe, 14 Apr 2023My only hope is that they put a bigger battery on that thing. Not a bigger battery, but a well optimized one.
I can manage 2 days with a measly 3000mAh, all thanks to the system optimization

Hooray, a smaller phone! Finally! I'm so tired of 6.7" screens that can't be used 1-handed or fit in a pocket

CargoJoe, 14 Apr 2023Real question is why is Google going smaller for their one ... moreThere was an article online I read that their plan is to eventually put out a small and large regular flagship and a small and large pro flagship phones like iPhones, which is possible given that they are basically the Apple of Android.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2023That's true, but it's not the only reason. For ex... morePeople who can barely operate with one hand due to medical issues would prefer to use a phone that's easier to handle. Unfortunately, even included with those who just want small phones in general, they are all still treated as a marginalized group, so the limited options are mostly at a flagship price.
What's even sadder is that there are people here who are basically actively campaigning for phone manufacturers to stop releasing small phones "because it doesn't sell" as if they personally invested money on those companies.

I miss Face ID from 4 and 4XL series. Google must have to provide Face ID in their phones.

Real question is why is Google going smaller for their one flagship despite there being the A series. Either cause they're tryna sell something big or focusing on something Ultra. Or foldables. I think 6.3 inches for the 7 is a good size.

Going from S22 Ultra to S23 has taught me that no amount of tech, cameras, or battery, can compensate for comfort. They could make a phone with a full frame sensor, 20k mah battery, 64 gigs of ram, and sell it for $100. I still wouldn't but it above 6.2" anymore. Kudos to Google for offering a sane size for people who buy phones to use them and not to flex.
