I have the Oppo Find X6 Pro, which has the Sony IMX989 1" and two IMX890s, which are both 1/1.56. They make an awesome combination.

As for all the new tech, it remains to be seen where in the pipeline it's applied, if it's too far down the pipeline then it'll have to rely on the default camera software, which is never a good thing.

LoL sound like another fanboy or probably afraid something will be better than Samsung at something lol what a joke some people are. If you are a Samsung fan you should hope Xiaomi does come out with that will wake Samsung up and make them push there limits I've bought my girl the Samsung Note line (now ultra line) for last 5 years and since the now only make the ultra they don't take anymore chances like the used to and Samsung follows everything apple does but in the long run instead of being different I understand apples sell more premium (overpriced phones ) since it doesn't sell a phones at a lower budget so that comparison mean shit. Also yes people buy apple just because everybody screams the iPhones and then if they ever get to try a high end android and learn how to use it they would realize they been ripped off I've seen it personally multiple times with iPhone user. Don't get me wrong apple and Samsung make solid products and I respect that but I do give Xiaomi a lot more respect for at least taking chances with ultra line and mix line honestly miui has been getting better and better but that personal opinion that's why competition is great thing

Moreover, a slightly smaller sensor size wouldn't matter that much as long as they keep the aperture size and FoV of the lens the same (i.e. A smaller F-number).

Out of all people ... moreNo it would not lmao, no one cares about any Oppo nor chinese brand at the price of Samsung or Apple you have to understand that, the Oppo Find X series from 1 to 5 shown already their bad sales. Samsung S23 Ultra is just better.
That said, it proves how very few chinese flagships are sold because they stick to China only and even in China the Number 1 premium brand by very far is Apple.

Colors are fake, dynamic range is fake, noise is everywhere in both dark and bright area. With the help of Leica, finally Xiaomi phone can compete with world best camera phones. This is so obvious, I hope you can see it.

I don't understand (Xiaomi should take the opportunity to shout out loud to the competitors), and at the same time I understand (always about cutting costs). X90 Pro+ still has the best hardware and very good software on the camera phone category, we are talking about 1/2" periscope and ultrawide sensors, 25% bigger sensor. Now lets see what apertures Xiaomi will give us, probably a 25% larger to overcome the shortage. Just take a look at iPhone, it has the best algorithm in the world for calculation photography, which fully demonstrated in its video department. However, just take a look at its low light stills, competing with those 1" competitors? An obvious loser.

I don't think this won't be a Huge upgrade. But, Software processing matters. Mi 11 Ultra was a Great Flagship Phone with Xiaomi's image processing. But, 12S Ultra failed because of Leica image processing (Not able to manage same colour calibration in all three cameras).

Thats some great sales achievement in the ocean of hundred Android brands. That's something any chinese brands can not achieve.
Yes, Galaxy S3 had greater sales number, but at that time only fewer than 10 brand exist, and S series only costs about 300 USD. The total sales revenue of today's S/Z series is far higher than total sales revenue of Galaxy S3 at that time.
