Thanks to budget phones, there are lots of them that support Android 13. Those who use Android 11 out of the box can at least get Android 13. Most budget Xiaomi, Realme, Infinix etc get from January until now, so it's fast from 5% to 12%.

Anonymous, 14 Apr 2023useful stuff? you mean ads? its pretty useful for company 🤭🤣 Dude ofcourse you are clueless while making lame jokes. Only good thing pure android has no bloatwares and ads. But at the same time it's mostly featureless. I don't want to compare it with one UI, let's talk about just basics. It doesn't even offer a built in app locker and hidden apps features. Aren't these called useful?

We have to thank android oems for refusing to update their devices, continuously launching phones with outdated hardware and software

Meanwhile, iOS 16 is like 90% on all iphones in the world 🤭🤭🤭

I think this is already Phone Brand responsibility to ensure the Android version update. I mean Google tried to provide tools and make it easier to upgrade but if the Phone brand dont want or doesnt have money to burn or tuning, testing and deploying then it wont work.

Unless Google maybe find a way to upgrade phone with very limited resource / cost from Phone brands to implement, then we will always have this fragmentation.

But on the otherhand, the features added since Android 11 is not huge so users actually not missing much I guess.

well yeah of course only samsung fanboy who think update are everything....heck even normal people who using s23u didn't care about their OS update 🤣

That's because Android 11 is still the most stable and best version of Android to date. Even I'm using Infinix Note 11 Pro with Android 11 back to back with Android 12 on GT Neo 3T, and I still prefer the former to the point where I debloat and disable the update, so it won't update to android 12 lol.

Despite android 13 running only on 12% of the android devices, Samsung makes up 80% of the devices running android 13.

Google should start adding useful stuff, the things the other UIs have had for years.
Instead of lame features like dinamic theme.
