I'll buy this one in November when the price should be discounted... It's a good replacement for my aging Poco F3

Good design, Very thin bezel, rather affordable with the price. This is midrange killer with Snapdragon 7+gen2!!

Look at sony pro-I, it uses double Cooper cooling Chambers
        Redmagic 8pro uses mini fan

Don't blame snapdragon, but blame the Bstrds oems manufacturers using cheap 2mm thick rear back aluminium instead off carbon fibre metal titanium

Not seen actual performance numbers for the cpu (benchmarks are not accurate performance figures that represent real world lol considering how companies deal with benchmarks to make their phones look better) but with x2 cores and a710/510 it'll be about 10% real world difference (basically same clock speeds so its down to more core effiency and power per watt, the ram performance will be holding it back for the cores too on the 7g2).

GeeX, 25 Apr 2023every phone has 6.67 inch screen, why?Because keeps prices from increasing even more.

Easier/cheaper to make ten 6.7" screens than five 6,5" + five 6.8" for example

TechGeek21000, 25 Apr 2023What is this ignorance? SD 7+ G2 is an excellent chip. ... moreThe 7g2 is a very good chip, basically a mid range armv9 chip. Doesnt destroy the 888 though, about on par with it vs gpu performance (888 has a 1,736 Gflop gpu vs 7g2 which is 1,781Gflops), ram isnt even close 888 destroys it (quad channel lpddr5, gets 51GiB/s vs 7g2 which is dual channel lpddr5, same speed but gets 26.5GiB/s). Cpu will probably be the 7g2 but nothing where you will feel a difference.

The g2 is just awful, supposedly the g1 was on par with the 888, ive owned the p40 pro (kirin 990), pixel 6 pro (g1) and now a find x5 (888) and the g1 real world performance was on par with the kirin 990 (its basically a 855+/865 chip real world) except the gpu which was better. Its lte/5g/wifi speeds were all slower than the kirin 990, by quite a bit, used way more energy too. The 888 is even a bigger gap. G2 is basically an 888 with a better gpu, thats it (dunno why mali gpu get stick, the p6pro has been the better emulator runner than the 888).

77, 25 Apr 2023Much better off buying S888 s875 than this garbage midrange... moreThe 7 gen 2 can beat the 8 gen 1 in some benchmarks. It's Qualcomm's answer to the Dimensity 8200.

77, 25 Apr 2023Antutu geekbench says its s888, but the spec are midrange Welp. 7+ Gen 2 uses ARMv9 cores already; how come it became SD888 with their ARM v8.x (X1+A78+A55) cores? 7+ Gen 2 uses 1x X2 derivative + 3x A710 derivative + 4x A510 derivative CPUs, much more similar to 8/8+ Gen 1. It is also manufactured using TSMC's 4nm process, compared to 888's Samsung 5nm. Its memory bandwidth may have cut in half, but that's necessary to put it in upper midrange to prevent competing with its mightier compatriot
