Mi 11 ultra is good phone except software performance and updates it only releases it software update around 4 months once no matter what they do it will always have lots of bugs eg. Proximity most don't work during calls, ambient light senor doesn't work properly most of the times, refresh rate terrible mostly buggy but camera it's good I love mi 11 ultra for that reason not better than s23 ultra but on that time it clearly better than s21 ultra
S23 ultra good software update every month we get update with lot's of fixes bug free experience except for very few time ( one or two time ) google apps lags refresh rate camera they need to fix over exposure issues night sky noice issues but it's great in details retrieval not other phone able to give this much details colour accuracy not great but it's ok it's like social media friendly colours more popup

Not sure that "best of everything" is the way to go. My preference runs with a single cam doing the best it can by cropping. A cam having 100kPix or more with 16 to 1 (or more) binning, and fast lens (better than 1.6). Forget the wide and the macro but add infrared.

Miui14 isn't too bad, I'm wanting it for the camera mostly. I just tried the 23 ultra today omg it is horrible, I feels cheep horrible on the hand. Xiaomi is better

You can be a fanboy of other brands, as weird as it is to fanboy ANY brands, but MIUI 14 is objectively a good OS and runs incredibly smoothly. If you can't face facts, then work on that as a person.

I have the Samsung S22 ultra and will switch to the S24 ultra as usual, and if I had to change brands it would be Pixel or iPhone

Not really fond of MiUI, but seems a decent shooter especially for street photography. If DPreview still with us, they must be extensively testing the 13 ultra prowess.

From past few years I have stopped appreciating the Xiaomi phones.
Anything to an excess is bad.
That's exactly what they have done. Flooded the market with confusing number of phones ( similar names and configuration). Plus confusion over MIUi and Android version. One may be using MIUi 13, but for some it would be Android 11 based and for some it would be Android 12 based. God knows what.
End result is , buyers are confused what is it that they are buying, a latest version or the older version or something else? It's just that they thought - we are the number one in India. People will buy whatever we throw in the market.
This over confidence has hit them. They have not learnt from the history. This is how Nokia, Motorola, Blackberry have lost it.

The review does impress me well, but I'm still worry about the official pricing. If Xiaomi selling it for higher price than the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, then it won't be a great seller.
