Antutu 900k, 4nm fabrication, very thin bezel all around, and yet you ask for higher soc? Just buy last year flagship with higher price I think or buy F5 Pro

Seems really disappointing if F5 uses Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 since F4 runs Snapdragon 870 which is a minor upgrade in performance. They should of picked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or Gen 2

Hemedans, 26 Apr 20231. Your comment said K60 pro is expensive in China, re read... moreMy comment meant it's too expensive to be the poco f5 pro going on Chinese prices. The K60 is a lot cheaper and that is the one that is supposedly going to be the poco f5 pro. Xiaomi typically charges between 55-70% more that the Chinese price in Europe and this year their prices have typically been around 70% (more than in previous years where they were towards the 55% more). The redmi note 12 series in Europe is also slighly over 70% more in Europe. This seems to be the standard premium. Going by the typical 70% mark, if they launched say an 8gb 256gb variant it would be 800 euro with a 70% mark. An 8gb 128gb variant would be a bit cheaper maybe around 750.

hmm, 26 Apr 2023If the F5 come with 3.5mm jack then it would be one of the ... moreMy recommendation, go with Poco X5 Pro. I bought it and I really don't have anything to complain on this device. Maybe missing FM radio, and that's it. It's fast and for a month that I have the device, I haven't found any bugs.

Poco F5 is gonna cost waaaay more than X5 Pro. Something like €550, if not more.

aReefer, 26 Apr 2023How does the 7+ Gen 2 stack up against the SD 870 in the Poco F3?If anyone cares, the 7 series gen2 here is about 30% better overall than the SD 870 in the F3.

                          Just for general reference.

3.5mm headphone jack? If it has T-Mo US bands, VoLTE & ability to unlock the bootloader, I'm buying it.

Get with the programme. 90 percent of the bes... moreSo what you're saying, is because 90% of smartphones don't have that feature, it's crazy to think that a user could find a smartphone without that feature unacceptable? That's ridiculous. Expandable storage doesn't hurt you and can only benefit you. We're going to end with old phones that are basically bricks because they're not useful as media players anymore. It will be useful to have a 10 year old S10 or G8 as a media player in 2029, not so much for a 128GB S21 Ultra. I don't know how someone could think the removal of this feature is good. You're basically creating E-waste. Because one day when these phones are outside their useful life *as* phones, they won't be useful for much else. I mean you can fit what, 30-40 movies on 128GB of storage? Maybe 4000 lossless FLAC audio tracks? For most people that's not gonna be their whole library. My V60 can hold all 216GB of my music, no problem. In the future when 1TB microSD cards are cheap, my then old V60 will be a great media player. A TB of storage that can easily be used across devices including laptops, desktops, phones, and tablets is invaluable. If you don't see the value in that, I don't know what to say. You complain about us using our voices to try to tell manufacturers that removing the MicroSD card slot was the wrong decision, yet you're the one that ends up worse off for it. You get a phone with less features that's going to be less useful in 10 years. You get an experience that could be so much more but won't be because you don't have that option. Meanwhile, phones with those features are used by people every day, and they love them, whether they use those features or not. It does not hurt you to have expandable storage. It does not hurt you to have a headphone jack. The notion that it does is a ridiculous narrative seemingly designed to defend your favourite company's choice of removing genuinely useful features.
