I don't have another way of describing it. Coworker has Mi 12, my brother X3 pro, and I as mentioned F3, all three phones with quirks and bugs of their own. So yes, I have tried it, I am daily driving it and I hate it.

Xiaomi have been losing a lot sales, they need to give features that the likes of Samsung or even iPhone don't or you might as well just get an A54 or one of the cheaper iPhones

Talking about Android 7 in 2023 is an odd thing. It's well out of support.

If the F5 come with 3.5mm jack then it would be one of the phones in my list for my next phone. As of now i am considering Poco X5 Pro but if the F5 be like 100 euro more then i probably take it. But well will see when it be out and price is known.
If the battery last then this phone can probably last for me next decade and dont need to buy new phone. Well if something more compact or flip phone come out that is on my price range and have 3.5mm jack in like after 5 years gone by

Samsung have silly prices and eco system lock downs.
I've owned multiple Google Pixel devices and I can 100% assure you the performance is ruined with time. And they're buggy.
Motorola = most buggy and worst support I've ever seen.
Xiaomi = I'm not sure.. MIUI is not great but probably the best in balance.
Sony = super expensive and not very common.
Redmi = budget crap, poor specs and awful software.
Poco = IMO unknown. Was good before but price is getting up there...
What's left? That's it for UK brands.
As a die hard Android fan you can see why iPhones are so popular.
