Droid4ever, 27 Apr 2023Why is there no new Nokia logo?? The new logo won't be used on phones and consumers products, as nostalgia is pretty much the only thing drawing people to HMD products.

Minu, 27 Apr 2023Agreed, but let's not forget Samsung Xcover series has... moreoled on rugged phones would defend its purpose of "ruggedness" it would be just rather a fashion thing.. remember when you drop a device with amoled/oled then you get a random green line thing?? yes i know galaxy s6 active exists but the old amoled days were durable... especially in 16:9 and non curved form.

Camera: 64 MP main sensor, 8 MP zoom sensor, F/1.79 aperture, 1080p video.
                                      Battery: 4800mAh battery, 33-watt charging

OS: Android 12, OS updates by May 2026, security updates by May 2027

Sounds like they went for the Omnivision OV64B for the main camera...

No mention of wireless charging, the programmable button is centred at the top and the USB 3.0 has been downgraded from the XR20 to 2.0 standard.

No mention of wireless charging, and what is with launching with Android 12? Qualcomm need to stop misleadingly saying the 480 & 695 support WiFi 6 when they don't.

The screen refresh rate has been increased to 120hz at least, hopefully it has better brightness than the one on the G60.

The renders make this look like a design downgrade from the XR20, the asymmetrical camera housing being the obvious element.

It also looks like the lanyard hoop is missing, and the programmable button is now where the Google Assistant button was which means it will be pressed accidentally. The XR20 had both a dual and single LED flash (and flashlight) whereas this has dual only. The XR20 also had the exposed frame which looked unique and provided a good contrast of materials, this seems to have a ribbed frame for grip.

As for the main camera sensor, my guess is they may make use of the ISOCELL GW3 as on the X20, unless they have acquired some OV64C (used in the Nokia 8.3) or OV64A which seems to be in use again recently.

I would guess the XR30 will use the 695 chipset like the X30, but there is a rumour HTC are releasing a phone with the 778/+ or 7 Gen 1 and HMD seem to have the same supply.
