I see most people are talking about no 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, SD card slot etc on various models.
Guys don't complain like that.
In market there are some mobile models which give all those and also some models which don't.
If you need those buy those mobile models which gave those, simple.
I need those 3 things although i do use only the 3.5mm jack.
I don't use FM radio and SD card on regular basis but i have 2 old SD cards in my home which i use as back up for most important files.
So, i buy mobiles which supports all those features i need or might need.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2023They must be thinking that you can transfer files wirelessl... moreRemoving the microSD card from your smartphone is a grave mistake that you simply cannot afford to make. With a microSD card, you are always in control of your precious data, no matter what happens. If your phone suddenly breaks, you still have a backup of all your data. If you are traveling abroad and don't have access to the internet, you can still access all your important files. When you upgrade to a new phone, you can instantly transfer all your data without any hassle.

In addition, having a microSD card means you don't need to waste precious battery life by streaming content or paying for expensive cloud storage subscriptions. And let's not forget about the cost savings - if you have children or limited funds in your bank account, you can avoid paying extra for cloud storage.

It's dumb to see companies like Samsung remove the microSD card from their phones, making them just like any other phone on the market. Its marketing ploy and a trumendous mistake.

Best of luck doing that at places with almost no internet coverage like my hometown. Also, have they ever transfer files from the phone's internal storage to PC? Anonymous, 28 Apr 2023Too bad those modern storage solutions are objectively ass ... moreIt's the same story with wireless audio. Just because more people use it doesn't mean the 3.5mm audio jack is outdated and irrelevant. At the end of the day, there's no getting away from the fact that wired plug-and-play solution gives better bandwidth stability and wider bandwidth, all because of zero latency. It makes you wonder why LG never have any temptation remove the headphone jack from their flagship phones with built-in Quad DAC audio, unlike Sony which did it back in 2018 and 2019 but only to see them put it back and keep it to this day since the 2020 Xperia 1 Mk2.

I have been hearing a lot of complaints about samsung appliances these days. Like it's fridges, washing machines etc which were not there a few years back. Is samsung using cheaper parts to make them to save expenses?

Samsung is doing OK with phones IMO. They are consolidating models, releasing solid upgrades, and are providing long term updates and software support. Its the Chinese brands who need to start worrying. They're not offering much compared to Samsung, and simply cannot compete with Apple at all.

You have to pay $100 to get 2x storage when you can spend $50 for a genuine 512GB microSD card with factory-backed lifetime warranty and get 4x storage. Actually, for a similar $100 price, you can buy SanDisk 1TB microSD card and get 8x storage! Only idiots would think microSD card is "dead" when they don't even know cloud storage servers still use magnetic tapes for data collection. I don't see people still using VHS tapes for home video in 2023.
