Not an appealing looking device at all, bet it will be overpriced as well.

"XR21 is said to bring a 6.49-inch LCD"
It's a shame they had to make it such an oversized brick. I think a lot of people are looking for a compact, durable phone just to get them through the day. People who need large screen (e.g. mobile gamers and people who watch movies on phones) commonly don't need a rugged phone. Hopefully it at least has FM radio.

Theres no real update from 480 to 695. They're the same 765 derived SoC.

HMD do have an aversion to certain features however, especially: 4K recording, telephoto cameras, wireless charging, OIS and OLED displays.

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2023No FM radio? Pass.I know right. FM Radio still holds its value in rugged places and situations, especially when there's almost no internet coverage for online streaming. Also, RDS is also a useful tool to transmit messages during emergency. It's funny to think that most people think that old tech is outdated and no longer relevant when it's still useful in modern day lives.

And what are you talking about? The comment you are replying to specifically typed "any of your phones recently". That includes EVERY phone in your recent release roster.

I just don't understand this Nokia... ok, we have finally 120 HZ screen, the phone got smaller which is good, but why the OS version is so outdated, why the SOC is so old (it is bad for software support, better get the latest SD 4 or 6 series), why the ultrawide got worse and why the chin size is from the last decade, I just can't understand some of these pathetic and horrible choices, so I really hope that this render and rumor specs are wrong

Snapdragon 695 cpu is best for normal phone only and this cpu is released in 2021 begining.
For rugged phones Snapdragon 7th gen 2 is better option.
Note: Nokia please check competitors phones specs and price.
