The F5 Pro seems like a dumb idea for Xiaomi's 'gaming focused' brand .. 77% more pixels to push in WQHD+ vs FHD+, but the 8 Plus gen 2 is barely any more powerful than the 7 Plus Gen 2 in the F5.
Games are not going to render at full resolution at good frame rates.
F5 seems ok at least.

The specs are already known for the Poco F5 and Poco F5 pro so the only thing left to find out is the price. It is the price that will determine the success or otherwise of these phones.

Poco F5 pro will be drastic good devices. Extremely good device for gaming. Only issue that is omnivision ov64b which is waste sensor.

When poco f2 pro got released, i am so excited, because it has Sony imx686 which is good camera sensor and the photo output is very nice. Now I am unhappy because omnivision ov64b main camera sensor is waste sensor used in redmi k60 which will rebranded as poco F5 pro which used in realme gt master, poco f4, Vivo iqoo z6 pro etc which is failed to give detailed photo output and video output. Even after lots of optimization by Smartphone OEM.

Best devices are all-rounders. If these things arrive once again with a useless 8mp ultrawide and an even more useless macro shooter, they'll be completely worthless.
