I don't watch YT much, makes YT Premium has no benefit to me and I just like Spotify's interface more. And no, I need my music app to able to run in background.

There's (almost) no way they will make you pay for something that previously free. Pretty sure this is not something like Nitro Basic.

I'll take free YT music over free Spotify any day. What good is a music streaming service if I can't even choose what to listen to.

I've always found it to work smoothly and better than Spotify ever did, atleast on android. Also, YouTube music is included with YouTube premium, which is insane value for money when you think about it. You get a premium streaming service for both video and music, for just an extra 1$ a month over YouTube music premium.

Also because YouTube is one of the worst platforms and companies and they hold a monopoly over video streaming

                Cool. Still won't use it

                  I've never understood the hate YouTube music gets. So, it's got a few bugs. Name an app that doesn't. I'll wait. It works for my needs, I've downloaded nearly 10GB of music through YouTube music, and when we're talking about lossy codecs, that's a lot. Is it because the UI doesn't have green accents? Is that the problem?

                    google likes to merge everything but thats fine, but not the good working google podcast app being merged into yt music😭😭😭

                        Still won't make me going away from Spotify. No matter how much I tried the alternatives, Spotify is still the best option.
