TSMC Snapdragon chips will always be the overall best for Android.
Dimensity can be a close second, and a better option than Exynos or Tensor, but thats about it.
I would take Dimensity 9200 over Exynos or over Samsung Snapdragon like 888, Gen1 but never over tsmc Snapdragon.
Better overall drivers(gpu)and support, than Mediatek and Qualcomm 5G modems are no joke either.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2023Always go for Snapdragon. For laptops always go for Intel. ... moreI don't understand. Both MediaTek and AMD are also already stable and durable nowadays. I hope you're not that one guy that think "MediaTek always overheat" or "AMD always overheat ".

Who could have predicted a newer CPU outperforms an older one?!! Absolutely amazing! I wonder if the next newer CPU will outperform older ones too?!!

Always go for Snapdragon. For laptops always go for Intel. If you want stability and durability. And I've used both.

Funny it goes close to Apple.
Apple was, it is and always will be god only on paper.
In real life performance and long time gaming seasions Apple wont and cnt keep up and will overheats like a hot potato.
In case of SD 8 Gen 2 or this new Dimensity 9200+ they do not overheats so much and thus they preform better as always.
When comes to most basic task like running IOS yes apple is faster but when comes to gaming, multitasking, running many apps simmultaneously or opening lets say 200 different brownsing cards then closing the brownser and opening it again where we lastly searched with all cards Apple will just refuse to do so.

This is not the final benchmark result of this device that uses bare minimal Android build of Dimensity 9200+ platform. It needs to be sure that the final product will be similar to the screenshot with the same device information.
I want to mention about Dimensity 9200+ that was a rebranded version of the regular D9200, with notable changes over D9200.
• 1x 3.05 GHz → 1x 3.35 GHz Cortex-X3
• 3x 2.85 GHz → 3x 3.00 GHz Cortex-A715 (not Cortex-A175)
• 4x 1.80 GHz → 4x 2.00 GHz Cortex-A510
• To be mentioned about the clock speed of Mali-G715-Immortalis MC11 very soon. Will be check out on Geekbench Compute Results (OpenCL) on some wiki page.
Still a flagship chipset, not significant boost over D9200, but quite weaker than SD 8+ Gen 2.

People think the score of the Apple chip is fast, until it beats by mid range android chip in 2 years.
The A15 and D8200 are only 1 year apart and have matched the speed of the A15... even better in some parts.
So buying a mid range has a better price to performance ratio than buying a Flagship.

Just as the combination suggests (3.35+3.0 ghz) it's already a power angry processor without forgetting how mediatek is not good at power efficiency. But let's wait and see.

Jimmy Potter, 29 Apr 2023We DON'T need this much power. Focus on battery effeci... moreThank you. I went from an S22 to an S23 thinking battery life would be similar. Not so. Battery life on my S23 is similar to thar of my 2014 HTC M8 (the second ever Snapdragon 8 series system on a chip). S22 definitely has superior battery life, regardless of what you use it for (except standby, non use). To think Qualcomm would want to go the opposite direction that they did in 2016 when they partnered with Google and HTC in the release of the Pixel 1 by releasing a downclocked versionc of the Snapdragon 821, by proudly showboating about an exclusive overclocked SD8 GEN 2 SoC is beyond me. I believe they should make 2 or 3 versions of so called flagship chipsets ( extra battery efficient under clocked, standard variation, and overclocked) and let buyers go online and choose whichever one suits them best. Finally, this method could provide consumers with the option of having their phones shipped with or without headphone jacks.

At this point, CPU performance gains are negligible enough if it's at least on SD 8 Gen 2's level of performance and efficiency. What I'd really love to see is something that would surpass the SD 8 Gen 2's GPU performance while achieving the same level of efficiency, if not outperforming it at the same time.
Perhaps it's the A17 Bionic that might be able to do it, but even so, it'll be quite a long wait for now and in a span of few months, the SD 8 Gen 3 would be out and have an even more powerful GPU than that (hopefully if things are to stay the same for Qualcomm).
