COCONUTZ, 01 May 2023Stock Android is so many years behind OneUI (and others) t... morePixel old stock os had separate volume, idk why they merged it years ago..

But anyway, pixel stock os isn't bloated and doesn't look like android 9 stock (specially the qs tiles).

And pixel does have unique features like screen call (guess what, Samsung is making one now), hold for me, direct my call, nearby music, extract text / img, transcription, camera motion shot, etc..

Yogesh Brar claim google may kill A series because price is getting closer to vanilla pixel.
Difference between initial prices of 7a and 7 to be $200. And when A series hits stores, vanilla pixel is already $100-150 cheaper than its first day.

In the end A is about only $80-100 cheaper. Not worth over non-pro.

LAME AF......Google is dragging it's feat with Android...i wish Samsung was in charge of Android development.

Samsung had this for years, google is so behind.

I've always wanted this feature. My redmi phone doesn't have it.

kevvv, 01 May 2023Wait, has Pixel not had this feature until now??? I mean ev... moreSamsung has this "feature", and many more, at least since OneUI 1.0 (Android 9)

                    just "old" feature...

My realme UI 3 also does have separate volume control.

Stock Android is so many years behind OneUI (and others) that I never thought of it as a feature

Now, how many years untill stock Android gets something like Samsung's Sound Assistant, Equalizer and Dolby Atmos?

And this is a reason why I laugh at Google fan boys that always talking negative about other Android phones

UltraHD, 01 May 2023I don't see these two separated on my 12 Lite though, ... morewhen you are calling, you can set the volume.. it's the only way afaik. for notifications you can set it in settings.

Sooooo, why does this need Android 14 ? How about we'd get such tiny features in existing Android 13 versions?

Yes, Please. That's one of the most useful things. So far I have only seen Samsung do that. Please make this a common norm. 🙏

Hahaha.. What a innovation. More than 10 years with this feature. Just buy the right smartphones

If I'm not mistaken, they are also late in providing dark mode, when skinned Android is getting on version 9.0 and stock Android is getting on version 10.

Wait, has Pixel not had this feature until now??? I mean even my Samsung already has feature since Android 11.
