Best we can do is to treat ChatGPT like internet:- Don't ban it, but ensure regular tests and probably teach and test students in a situation where ChatGPT is not allowed, just like internet, so that students may apply their creativity and learn more.

Samsung haa no way to restrict or delete this info once it's on the chatGPT servers.

      It is completely stupid, nonsensical, and idiot to ban ChatGPT. Technology evolves, and in the same way Internet was a disruption to how students where learning, now ChatGPT is the new disruption.

      It is not about banning tools, it is about making the way people teach, learn, and pass exams, evoluate in the same way technology evolves.

        I'm a college professor, not in IT department though.

        Our IT department students are using ChatGPT to complete their homework. But how do we ban it? Its not on our computers, its on their personal laptops.
        But this way, our students' quality will go down in the worse way. How will they ever learn coding?

                  I literally had a colleague a few days ago take project code from a bank, throw into ChatGPT and ask how to change it to make it do what he wants it to do...
