David Salsero, 11 May 2023I am looking for a small mobile that can hold the battery f... moreI think everyone should do their own research and it sounds like you have already done your own so that's good. I spend about $3000 to $5000 a year on tech. I have already bought 4 phones this year, but the Pixel A series remains my favorite phone every year because it has almost everything I want at an amazing price. Plus the camera trounces several much more expensive phones. I could buy the most expensive phones, but I choose not to because I think they are very poor values.

Regarding the Pixel 7A, only 128GB seems little to me, which is why I prefer S23 in 256GB. Regarding Xiaomi, what I like the least are its updates, only 2.
I don't mind sacrificing a little more money for a mobile that will last me at least 4-5 years more than enough.

Rohit , 08 May 2023Google pixel is very slow battery life Slowest charging in the market and mediocre battery life, not to mention overheating. If they improve those on Pixel 8 maybe I consider it.

Samsung and Apple also provide slow charging but not as slow as this and these phones come with a solid battery life that can last a day easily.

I was hoping to see a minimum of 65W - 80W in 2022 but Google being Google I can NEVER buy a slow charging phone in 2022 so lame

I am wondering the oversea buyers will still need to pay over 1500 dollars for the latest Pixel "budget" Phone.

David Salsero, 03 May 2023Pixel 7a or S23 or Xiaomi MI 13 ???These phones are not even all in the same class. For me the 7a will be the better buy because it will atleast 80% as good in all aspects except camera in which it will significantly better, but at $300 - $400 cheaper. But ultimately it all depends on what you're looking for.

With the spec bump I don't think it's unreasonable to think they are trying to kill the line. Personally, I don't expect the 7a to get the typical deep price cuts.

Haha oppo is miles better than pixels i have no idea where youve gotten this infomation from. I had a pixel 6 pro, i now have an oppo find x5, wouldnt ever go back to a pixel the experience is a level above and ive not actually had any issues with the ui or interface, plenty of options and loads of useful features. I got android 13 update last September, before any samsung device, and i get monthly updates for the device and will get updates till 2026 (4 years) if i want the device that long. My mates find x2 pro is on android 13 aswell.
Also huawei are leaders in the telecommunications equipment and 5g, a lot of modems in the uk are still huawei made so kind of wrong saying chinese engineers are bad/not involved with mobile and wifi tech.
