That cheaper battery replacement was a scam to be fair, they offered it for a limited time, knowing many would not claim just due to lack of hearing about it or being too lazy / not realising there was sufficient issue with their battery for it to be needed. It didn't resolve anything for people already impacted with getting a replacement phone due to the batteries dying or offer any real compensation for their extra cost. Apple are a scam show though and that's why they are obsessed with proprietary hardware they can overcharge for as well as closed off systems like the app store where they charge 30% for your app or service to be on there but then they are on there as well with no fee to themselves. Other companies at a 30% disadvantage to apple news, apple pay, apple music etc. Don't know how any market and competition authorities let that one slide.

Give these people 1.6b. Make them sign their names. Ban them for life from using iPhones.
I can forsee them begging and crawling back for iPhones. Face it, UK would rather use iPhones rather than Chinese Android phones... where they will cry security and privacy.

jerem06, 03 May 2023Here we are not talking about normal wear but premature, st... moreThat comment wasn’t even defending Apple, just stating a fact.
But it seems that the only truth is to hate apple at all cost, and anything that doesn’t outright say “I hate them” is automatically defending them.
Again every brand makes mistakes, if you hate one you should hate them all.
I don’t even like them and Xiaomi but honestly people trow all the kind of trash af Apple to see what sticks.
Stay true to the facts, there is enough to blame apple for but never enough for people hating them.
