Would love to own this one IF LG wouldn't be so slow in updates. Besides, they are not only slow, but often don't release them at all.

This is a prime example of why samsung's so called gimmicks are actually innovating features. They are trial blazing ahead and now setting the standards others will follow. The Optimus g pro is a compliment to the note series and the phablet concept. The software features are likewise there in recognition of samsung's added value software in top of android.
It's a win win for consumers and to me demonstrates a shift in what constitutes innovation and shows the consumer the true purpose of high end specs in a phone. It also shows that there is another manufacturer that can produce great phones and compete at samsungs level forcing them to innovate further.

The features are great and the phone's monster spec sheet is impressive but LG's notorious for ridiculously late O.S. updates... I already sold my Optimus 4X about a year ago and next thing I know, it's getting a JB update! That aside, I'll wait for the Snapdragon 800 Phones; preferably an Xperia.

Qmemo runs differently with a screen capture then you can write on it unlike Smemo that just pops out when Spen is taken off. stylus was used on cookie phones before note. Live zooming is an android feature. duh when you can use the video cam at the same time common sense the still cam can do it to. Qvoice is not copied from Svoice like Svoice its based on GoggleNow. SmartStay is for reading and almost every highend phone does the same and readers and browser has an option like that; i also have optimus one and now Vu. i don't know if your defending or rotting us down man...

pick whatever phone right for you that you like and shut up. Kids nowadays has nothing to do at home besides sitting behind (on) the keyboards (armchair) trying to be easy warriors (experts) fighting (debating) for something that doesn't even concern their own business.

Samsung and other manufacturers copied the pinch to zoom and multi-touch from the iphone, and the dual video recording was announced and launched by LG more than a month before Samsung showed it off at their unpacking event. I'm not biased when I say this coz I dint care about brands and just want the best value for money. I'm using the S3 now but planning to buy the G Pro unless the Note 3 offers better options :-)

the patent for smart pause and smart scroll was first submitted by LG (ofcourse it was submitted with a different name but essentially the same). However, LG seem to only seem to have implemented said technology recently.

yes patentented things should not be implemented by others ... if that is the case everybody can check patent list and copy idea an implement ..
