LG Optimus G Pro value pack update unveiled, shown on video

11 April, 2013

LG will be issuing an update to its flagship Optimus G Pro, which will bring some new features along with improvements to old ones. The update will be arriving to Korean users on April 12.

LG released a video showing off the new features on the phablet. Smart Video tracks the eyes of the user and automatically pauses a video if it senses you're not looking at it.

Dual Camera is using both the back and front-facing cameras to take pictures at the same time, leaving you with a dual-composition.

Pause & Resume Recording will let you pause during video capture and later on continue, merging several scenes in one video file.

Magic Remote Pad is an addition to QRemote and will function with LG Smart TVs - it will turn the Optimus G Pro into a remote control, touch pad and input device.

Would love to own this one IF LG wouldn't be so slow in updates. Besides, they are not only slow, but often don't release them at all.

This is a prime example of why samsung's so called gimmicks are actually innovating features. They are trial blazing ahead and now setting the standards others will follow. The Optimus g pro is a compliment to the note series and the phablet concept....
