Samsung Galaxy Watch6 will launch with FDA cleared irregular heart rhythm notifications

I have a few "heart" issues, and the new feature of monitoring in the background will give me piece of mind. Really like how it will alert you to do an ECG

          the samsung watch is not worth buying in some countries, such as serbia and others where pressure measurement has never worked. ecg ... and sim ... that's why you're wasting money on something that doesn't work as well as in other markets

And then people wonder why they have the worst battery. Well, there you have it. The rest only monitors things on-demand or irregularly. For example, Galaxy Watch 4 that I have only measures heartrate if you don't move for some time. WHY?! I want heart rate to be monitored during activity too. But you need to enable all day monitoring manually. Afib is also something you want to be monitored at all times, it's not like heart will wait for you to monitor to show Afib...

                    Too bad Afib is only monitored when you run the ECG scan which renders it useless. Probably the same with this new IHR function.

                        Lol, my GW5Pro already does that and more via 3rd party apps, as well as sleep coaching, adjusting heart rate zones and gpx tracking. And now I can even manually measure ambient temperature with it of various hot surface objects, lakes etc... Samsung you are way behind in software integration. The worst part is that Galaxy Watch 6 will have the worst battery life of any Samsung watch.

                          Samsung's Galaxy watch already struggles with battery life. That's what they need to work on.
