I highly doubt there were more than maybe 12-13 devices with it in 2022. Something that does not even cost $50 ( sensor + lenses + OIS + assembling + other parts).

            2023: Two phones below €1000 to have it sold in Europe. Pixel 8 Pro and Oppo Reno 10 Pro+.

              Anyway, what I want to know is when are we getting our 2mp macro/depth combo Apple hmm? Android has had them for years, there must be a reason for it 🤷

              Bout dam time we iOS users joined in the awesomeness that is the 2mp macro/depth combo!

You and othe... moreNo one said they brought something new they just made the features main stream (and used the tech the most effective at the time). Could do the same with laser af, ois, PDAF, 2 camera set ups, 1st to use Xmp camera, 1st to use a selfie cam.

                    Asus might be the 1st in a phone but look at their camera quality currently and they havent done anything with periscope tech.

                    Ill just find it funny when apple will make out they have done something special when in reality they're years behind android flagships using the tech (like AOD and widgets, quad bayer cams, 120hz screen).

So when they are not identical, it means they are unable to make the extra hardware fit in the smaller variant.

                          As of right now dude Apple haven’t said a dam thing on the matter at all, and won’t until the September event itself.

                          Why is it whenever a rumour makes onto this site all the talking head start acting like it's an official Apple statement 🤷

                          What don’t we just wait and see eh. And if this turns out to be true, and if Apple mention the word ‘innovation’ in connection with it, then you can all do your thing and jump all over it as per normal.

                            Apple is gonna claim periscope does not fit inside 15 pro ( obviously lie) to justify only pro max has. Youtubers are gonna back Apple up ( those from major channels), so are some tech websites.

                            Apple is gonna give only to max by own choice. Same way sony has removed from 5iv.

                                  I think as of now only Google has managed to pull off good enough digital zoom to rely on just a main+periscope lens. All other manufacturers are terrible between around 3x and whenever you switch to the periscope lens.

                                    No 4-9x from LG Innotek, no imx903 main sensor, a17 bionic yield issues max 10% efficiency improvement, little bit smaller bezels and more removal of things, hopefully the charging cable and the sticker. 1500-1700€ for the 15 pro max 128GB
