Surely they will release the base model with 512gb and 1tb as storage options since they don't have expandable storage.

Zuzuz, 09 May 2023Reviews are on YouTube already. Very very difficult to find only F5 reviews as most are F5 Pro and also the difficulty is that majority of the videos are by some India guy who is hard to understand as there is like mix language or have title in English and inside is all Indian.
It's what youtube search got me as i dont have any clue on the reviewers and dont fallow any if i buy 1-2 phone in a decade

Bought it at around same price 2 year... moreI have my 5 years old Xiaomi also from Aliexpress and not considering to buy F5 and from some local shop for the extra year of warranty so if something happens in 2 years it be less complicated to go trough warranty. But i am not expecting as my 5 years old 170 euro xiaomi have lasted me well without problems

In the end, content is limited to 10 or 8bit

Poco is bad, there services are worst. Selling rebranded stuff. Poco f5 is just scam.

Even comparing F3 and F5. 12 bit display cant show full potenial on such a small screen, sd 870 was already perfect for everything, including gaming. With this price, F5 is great for new customers, for someone who have F3 and F4 its not.

The F4's early bird price was around the same last year, but for 6/128. Poco is giving more RAM and bigger storage for the same price, so I can see why the F5 is getting sold out.

Basically no real progress since the Poco F3 but it's like €200 more expensive. Also battery capacity decreased quite a lot from the Redmi K60 for some reason.
The F5 is objectively the better value option but since it doesn't have microSD support it's still a not for me

James Whister, 09 May 2023The pro won't have custom rom support? The Pro will have AOSP ROMs in the coming months because it's released in India, so don't worry, and hell, even the Zenfone 9 got Paranoid Android support since it uses the 8+ Gen 1 like in the F5 Pro

Those prices are insane, but the lack of a Dex Mode makes me step back. I guess I'll go to a S20 FE SD Dual Sim version for now.
