It was near impossible on old phones with 20mm bezels and smaller overall size.

The phone could use a taller screen, because the cutout in the display literally got larger (taller) when they moved from iPhone 13 pro to iPhone 14 Pro. In my opinion, it was a step back to take up more usable display with the cutout.

Chaging from 19,5:9 to 20:9/20.5/9 is gonna help reduce weight.
Wider phones are the heaviest.
