Google unveils Pixel 7a with Tensor G2, 90Hz display and 64MP camera

This is a significant upgrade over the 6a, in fact, the specs are quite close to the flagship Pixel 7, except the a-phone is cheaper.

My pixel 7 makes that with a larger screen, 7a will do even better, since the battery size is the same.
      There could be a less efficient screen on 7a, but I will wait for professional reviews before making the final judgement.

        Any glass will break. It can be Victus Super Ceramic Pro Plus whatever but drop it once and it's game over ⚰️🥀

          Like other said, terrible charging speads are deal breaker for many. Also pricing is terrible too as its almost same price as regular Pixel 7.

          I will wait for pixel 8, but if that one have slow charging too i will have to look for different brand phone.

            The more I see the Pixel Fold, the more I like it. Would get it in white as I enjoyed the silver iPhone X I had before selling it after 2 months because battery life was so bad. I need to wait another 6 months to get the Pixel Fold at half the price or so. No way I'm paying $1,800 for it.

            Google needs to push for trade-in deals. The reason I like it is because it's small when closed like a Find N and N2. I'm hoping Zvelsiem makes a faux leather case for it. Covers the hinge completely. I really enjoy the feel of their cases. They're usually out of stock with their Z Fold/Flip cases.

            With AT&T, they're very selective with which phones working on their 5G network. I can't import an Oppo Find N2 or vivo X Flip. My only foldable choices are really from Samsung and maybe Motorola. At least Pixel Fold offers a different alternative for those who don't want Samsung.

Sure it’s a pretty good performance for the price but not the best, and Snapdragon/Dimensity is catching up in the mid range with stuff like Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 and Dimensity 8000 series. What I like is that they kept the 6a at a lower price, but they didn’t even mention that. Feels like the stuff that was most exciting for me going into this (7a, lineup, pricing) was just a side note for them.

                                        Nice, more compact, autofocus on ultra wide, same battery size as pixel 7, so will last longer. The limit of 128gb is it's only major downfall in my book.
                                        Anyway, it will outsell all the previous pixels, mark my word for it.
