It had better come with more than 12MP (or 48MP if it's QB), though - Increased photodiode light sensitivity means they can pack more pixels into the same area without increasing the noise level at higher ISO settings. Something like a 100MP QB sensor would be nice.

You never had a point to begin with. In fact you prove the point so bad that every Sony page is littered with the biggest knight defending crowd because that comment was playing the middle ground saying neither side cares about the other but you still had to try and make a righteous fan fight out of it.

These are beautiful phones. But the only meaningful question about them is: When is Sony going to offer more than two years of Android and security updates? Sony was always lame on this account, but now that most companies are offering up to five years of security updates, it's inexcusable. For a $1000+ phone, making it obsolete in two years is absurd (and incredibly wasteful).

Whatever features or specs it has, they aren't very useful when it overheats in just less than a few minutes. Often it couldn't even handle one minute of shooting video before camera app shuts itself down from overheating.

Since mark 3 sales have started in late May ... moreFor both the 1 III and IV they were available from June - September depending on the region, the US was in September. Whereas for the XZ Premium every region had it from June - early July.
They should be focussing more about the US market, especially considering that they make phones specifically for the US like the Xperia PRO.

Anyone else a bit disappointed with the textured back and ridged sides? I prefer a smooth phone because it’s easier to clean. So much dirt is going to get trapped in there!
