the battery is as easy to replace as old androids where. Hope fairphone makes an external battery charger so you can just swap them out without having to charge your headset

Anonymous, 14 May 2023Yeah, I get you. Wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't... moreProblem with Fairphone is that they aren't big enough to easily dictate their designs and on top of that use responsible business partners. While I agree it's lame thing if sustainability is the main selling point, but I also understand the limitations they are facing.

Wouldn't it be cool if there were options for open back parts, as well? Then you could maximize your soundstage when alone & keep it to yourself in public without needing two pairs of headphones.

Repairable but the thing is, how much would be the replacement parts and how long will it be available...

Anonymous, 13 May 2023They removed the headphone jack from their last phone model... moreI'm not pissed about that decision. Its capitalism for ya'. What pisses me off is how they act so green and sustainable and such, yet they literally acts the opposite. What pisses me off is them acting like its better for the environment that they removed the 3.5mm. And then they now also sell a 3.5mm-less headset... I want to see how they want to explain leaving it out makes it more sustainable. I mean one of thier best "not greenwashy" written-out reason to leave it out from 4 is because for some reason this allowed them to make the phone thinner and thinness sells more than jack.

LOL am i supposed to be impressed? If they included the headphone jack, nobody would need repairable headphones/battery replacements. I certainly don't, because i have a phone with the jack and i don't use bluetooth headphones.

StarfoxHUN, 13 May 2023Can't wait to read how they will try to greenwash sell... moreSame with their fans. It's amazing to watch FP fanbase turn into apple zombies overnight after the first jack-less fairphone was launched.

Can't wait to read how they will try to greenwash selling a Headset without 3.5mm. It was already funny in the page of the phone, can't wait to see that for this device.

Anonymous, 12 May 2023I guess this is the reason why they removed the headphone j... moreI don't see that as an excuse. Sony also removed the headphone jack before, yet they put it back in 2020 and keep it to this day. Also, Sony produce their own wireless headphones and earbuds. Sony could have just continued selling their phones without the headphone jack, but I guess someone at Sony must realized that it was a big mistake to do so.

Anonymous, 12 May 2023Too pricey.Cheap stuff is made possible by workers that are paid very little. I'd rather something be pricy if it means everyone is well paid.
