But as you see not everyone would have a cousin at USA....
For L720 there is always going to be a price gap between Nokia's offical price and the actual one when you go to market to buy it. Also, there is always a high chance of price drop by nokia after few months of launch. If it comes At 17k I feel this phone is good enough.
You cannot compare anyphone, to nexus 4 be it lumia 720, coz it is the most wierd thing I have seen from Google to launch aphone with that kind of specs at such low price. it beats the hell from all others....
Also, when i spoke to my other cousins they feel that Galaxy Grand is a better phone just because it has a memory card slot and nexus4 doesn't. I felt like laughing looking at Grand's pathetic size and cheap plastic...but then it is their preference.
People over here are cribbing about jus 512mb ram and other things. My nexus has 2000mah (equal to L720's) battery size, and yet it lasts only for a day. (might be coz of quad core processor sucking too much juice). On other hand Nokia's is promising equal amount of just talk time..
I feel Lumia phones are for serious minded people who are not much into apps other than the default ones and care about the looks & sturdiness more...as you said just my preference after using stupid galaxy series from samsung(cheap,lags,doesnt even perform call functions properly)..

awesum, nt bad i wasexpecting it to b around 17 k....anyways, if it plzys subwzy surfer then m game, already heard a alot about this windows mobile, it vud have bee best if it came vid 1 gb ram, but at that price i dont think any a
dfoid is available vid 1 gb ram, so i wont crib but i just read the review by gsmarena team.....i guess most f the time they are just too honest vid their reviews. Unbiased.......was plannin to buy an htc one but it is out f my budget, so finzlly viill buy this one...hope so

I would say decently priced because L800 too still sells at almost similar rate. With all the limitations of WP7 I would still buy L800 if it drops around 10k as back up phone. Droids below 25k are just pathetic as it is too much resource hungry.

620 is jus 1300mah battery and aint gonna last long as this much..and yes half a inch matters on screen size..

to all who criticize the 512 ram, currently there r only two games that can't run on : temple run and i believe it will get an update to work on 512 ram phones soon(like asphalt 7). and modern combat 4 : this one most likely won't get an update for 512 ram phones but let's face it : there's no android phone in the same price of the lumia 720 can run modern comabt 4(and all android phone within its price have 1 gb ram and still can't run Modern Combat 4) so its not about 512 ram in the 720 compared to 1gb ram in android phones of the same price since the 720 and droids of the same price can't run the same games but the 720 offers far more better features.all wp apps run on 512 ram phones. and microsoft said ALL wp8 devices r upgradable. and for those who say this price is too much for a 512 ram phone, the iphone 4s which costs double has 512 ram .its not about having 512 ram ,its about the whole package!! for this price, the package is quite good and currently there's no android phone with this price can offer such package. so trolls and haters,cut off the drama and shut up. ur bad words won't affect such an awesome device!!!

Either way you look at it, the 720 is a bad deal.

Nokia plays stupid. How much would have cost 512MB of extra RAM in the 720? Maybe 2$. With 512 RAM you can't run any good game and you have no guarantee it will be compatible with future Windows Phone OSes.

WTF, so much price for just 512mb ram phone, which has lesser apps than iOS & Android. Also in 512mb RAM phone, several apps won't be installed & will not perform smooth, like Skype, heavy games etc etc.
What is wrong with Nokia, always thinking India as a rich & fool country, dumping their so called "costly" and "waste products".
