Dude dual core in sgs2 is cortex a9 but in 720 it's dual core krait which is significantly better than sgs2 dual core.... Check dual core krait benchmark on HTC one s to compare with sgs2.
And in sgs2 expandable memory is upto 32gb only but in 720 or even in 520 it's 64 gb so double than sgs2.

Usually manufacturers make the multitasking to function the iOS way though because it makes the os more fluid. But maby in the future with some manufacturer will want to pick the other way.

If you are willing to pay so much and you have a relative or friend in the US, then the Nexus 4 is a no brainer.
Before you people jump over me, c'mon, no phones are perfect. This is my personal preference. Just my two paise.

It's a shame that many of the competitors don't make WP.
Lava could've made a WP phone for cheap. Look at their Android phone

If they had taken the same phone and loaded it with WP it would've improved competiton.
Even Nokia would be under pressure to reduce price and offer better specs. After all, we're the ones to benefit.

i will buy xolo x1000 for 19k intead of nokia L720 ,because it is androide phone with intel chip so we can get window felling in androide phone with good specification than lumia 720.

Only super low end smartphone (below $100)by China makers come with this kind of RAM.
NOKIA, you should revisit the technical spec in Lumia 720. Many things seem like not right!

It's one of the worst GPU to have on Android because most games on Android are optimized for Adreno, PowerVR SGX, and GeForce ULP (Tegra). iOS and WP8 also have multitasking but they only let apps that need multisking to run in background, like navigation apps, music apps, social apps, etc.. Android lets malwares and rouge apps have multitasking their way which kills battery life and other nasty stuff.

@ mokia You do realise that s2 is still expensive than l 720 atleast here in india.how about comparing s2/s2+ with it's true competitor - l 820.the downgraded version of s2 - s2+ costs about 22 k INR.and it doesn't have anything to justify it pricetag.
Having said the price of l 720 is still on the higher side when luked at it's specs.1-1.5 k less would be ideal.

In same 1080p glbenchmark test they score 13 and 12, according to gsmarena tests(gs2 and galaxy express). And how about when there's no apps open in gs2 and it still isn't as smooth as wp with adreno 305?
Don't get me wrong, I'd personally always take proper multitasking over a little more smoothness.

When it comes to the smoothness its not just the GPU's for heavier native apps but all down to the Full multi tasking capabilities that is available on android which the other 2 don't offer. It certainly requires more RAM and also requires rooting that enables customising and controlling the overall functionality of the native apps for speed which the regular users cannot do. Therefore, more background app + less RAM + less processing cores = Lack of smoothness.

People are get fooled by the hardware specifications, high-end and mid-range spec the difffirence is only milliseconds not in minutes. Choose the phone you would like to that fits the budget, and value for money in every functions, build quality, sns integration, camera performance, ease of use, os fluidity, tech support. If you're an android fan stay out of this, this conversation is made to help nokia/ms to improve their products and services.

Or are you missing the convenience of selecting your internal memory concept? Much prefer the look, feel, and speed of the Nokia. On that note, to each their own.
