The Pixel 7a has to contend with cheap Pixel 7s at the moment, but its own price will start going down before long.

          I will buy a foldable (only from Samsung ) when they will :
          - Add the SD card slot
          - Add the 3.5mm jack
          - make the inside display with a decent aspect ratio instead of having those black bars whenever watching a video, beating the whole purpose of the big display . 90% of the people will never use it for multitasking , but I'm pretty sure everybody will watch YouTube on it.
          No room for the first two features ? No problem ! I'm pretty sure you can quit on having 15 useless cameras and just leave one good telephoto lens .
          PS Make the outside display eink, not amoled, like the remarkable gadget

              I'll wait until the 7a to go down at $399 or $349, then it'd be a worthy buy.

              As for the Pixel Fold, it cost the same as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, so you do have to ask yourself on why would you pick the Pixel over the Galaxy, and vice versa.

                    It's deemed overpriced because it's Google, you lot won't be saying it's overpriced when the Galaxy fold 5 or Apple Fold 1 launch at the same price

                      Ths is funny if you really imagine Pixel fold for 1800 and Pixel 7A for 500 uses same CPU and GPU.
                      No wonder its overpriced.
                      They would do lot better if they add SD 8 Gen 2 insead of Tensor CPU.

                      By the way Huawei was unable to make Kirin chips and Google hasnt been prohibited for making Tensor G2 and any other google chips why????
