But isn't apps like WhatsApp and Telegram have the ability to black out one-time messages during screen recordings? Both of them can do it natively regardless of any Android versions.

Finally, a useful feature! So my friends won't judge me when I share my screen recording to them just because I record something with 3% battery level or record at 3AM.

rizki1, 20 May 2023it's a useful feature but for a small feature like thi... moreIndeed. We had a Note 3 ( android 5) flashed with Android 11R Lineage OS and it was able to get features from Android 6- 11. At the loss of Samsung only features like stylus pop up window and smart stay etc.
It couldn't install split apks on 5 but with 11, it can now run Revanced.

The only one noticeable restriction is that you can't install old apks made for android 5 or lower versions. Not a big deal anyway. Who wants to install really old apks? No point.

Why there is no control over those who screen record others while in video chat or in streams whiteout any prior permission. Screen recording is such a dirty tool. It shouldn't be taken more seriously and inform other persons that its being utilized in all platforms
