But there are many reasons why the HTC One and S4 are much better, fact. The screen on the Z is simply awful compared to the One and S4 and many other devices.

T, v, neo l, p, go, sola, s, and u also sells well. Blah blah blah. It's the truth, I'm seeing more people now holding Xperia, I'm getting the z too. The white one is so nice to look at. Now sony made a right decision to part way with ericsson, their solo venture is doing well. It just their second year and making an impact to market despite its availability is limited. Purple is sold out.
Lg fans will hate this news.

Why not with S4? And also, only premium feel and design are not everything. Performance is what really matters. And S4 and HTC one are ahead of XZ in terms of performance. My view is not based on GSM, but also from other review sites.

Great to see Sony back in the game. The Z is the closest Android cousin of the Iphone, and hopefully when the GS4 hits the street the price will go down.

I want first hand.experien... moreYou got that right...review some times mainly on their personal opinion...even they have proof, but in real life, its not all that bad than what u see in internet...you first got to experience real life usage, if not, try the demo first...go to any SONY outlet and try first hand...you all will be amaze by the beauty of it...you all said screen and camera not great even GSM said so...like i said, try first...but in my personal opinion, the screen is great and the camera is better...trust me..and this is come from a technology enthusiast...

I don't know why everybody forgets about Xperia ZL. I think it is even more better than xperia z because it is 1cm smaller in size plus IR REMOTE app works well.zl easily comes in my upper pocket. I am waiting for the sales report of zl.
Remember that Japanese version of Xperia z is best than international z and zl. as Japanese version has many other connectivity options.
I want that sony should not do partiality for providing better phone for its home country.

It is funny you say that, i own both an Xperia Z and an HTC One and the One is laggy in places the xperia z is not.
Scrolling comments etc on the youtube app or on facebook, the one is a lot laggier than the Xperia Z.
I know the One uses a faster snapdragon chip but to be honest, it does not show.

This selling is only a result of 1080p display hype. Once one and S4 become available in market, xperia z sales will slow down.

that's great news for sony. xperia z is a complete device with a superb design thats why it took over the market and still on top. i wonder why people talk about HTC one and samsung s4 coz they wont sell this much
