Man, don't get me wrong, I love Sony so much but they have to give more effort to costumer support...those 2011 lucky to have it (me included with LWW but I was satisfied) were not very pleased with Sony's effort in the update...many Xperia U and Sola users (wich are 2012 devices)will not have JB. Xperia S, Acro S, Go, Xperia J are getting JB but is it good enough?
I never thought that samsung could do anything on the update matter but I think they mature with S II success leaving them with no option, they needed to improve their costumer support. I have a S3 and I'm very happy with the updates and will not stop until 5.0 :) many other mid and high devices from samsung will receive and already received updates...heck, even SII will be granted 4.2.2 update this year. Many people have this love-hate for samsung and you got to admit that they are doing well in sales such as on costumer support :)
PS- Hell, I love SONY Xperia Z design so much :)

Galaxy s/w/y ( one of their best selling phone ) / some others not worth to mention only runs on gingerbread 2.3.5/6
Even the 2010 xperia lineups (arc,ray,neoV,mini,mini pro) can upgrade to ICS at least ( which is way better than gingerbread )
Xperia P gets jellybean upgrade.
Who doesn't get updates now lil' kid ?
Btw, 2010 xperia lineup's chipsets are just too old for jellybean so they can't upgrade. But there are custom made roms of JB for such devices. Just look for them.

before htc one xperea z was the king ,but with s4 and one out in the market z is not worth even to consider buying!!

sony xperia has the worst after sales service . they have cut down their service center after their break up with ericsson. It took 2 and half months for my xperia s to get serviced for a yellow tinch issue.
so very bad at service. so think before u buy in india.

Feels more solid, screen absolute beauty, camera great. Battery life is ok, same with my s3 at my daily routine.You have created a masterpiece. I salute you sony!

don't jump to conclusions piyal....just wait...I don't know know but HTC ,Blackberry and Motorola are a good brands and even if they are falling down they will not disappear for good.

I used to be obsessed with this phone until I actually played around with it. It's a bit to rectangular for me and despite the fact it's quad core, it still lags quite a bit even in the home screens. I noticed this by using my friend's one. He even said the battery was pretty bad even when he used Stamina Mode. Maybe their next phone will be better.

Sony released a very super phone...Xperia Z is the best one for me...no Samsung and no HTC...
