Not only because of how Apple's battery software, but I know how to prolong my battery life as well as prolong the battery itself. The same goes for Samsung phones or really any phone. A big part of it is how you use your phone and using tips and tricks to keep away from the wall charger and second comes the battery software on phones. Samsung has improved in that area a lot over the years.

For example Motorola X4 with SD630 14NM on idle miner it lasted 11 hours. From full charge to zero. Your so called optimized iphone on heavy gaming will be dead half way.
Because its not so optimized not for gaming and that so called optimization is nothing else but battery switch where they reduced performance by force to perserve as much battery as possible. Easy reason why Apple is worst gaming phone becuase its performance is worth only on brownsing and reworking 720 up to 1080p photos maybe some chatting apps but thats it.

Secondly, iPhones aren't known for having the best battery life. I know many people who have a hard time getting through the day on a single charge.

Huawei does the job. The design is better than Apple iPhones. Um Android? Idk. IPhones have thicc bezels and fat (wide portrait). Huawei is sexy but sus inside lol
