Let's say, we have processors A, B and C. A has 100 W power consumption, B - 15% lower than A, C - 25% lower than B.
So, C should have 40% lower than A? Wrong.
15% lower than A is 100 W * 0.85 = 85 W.
25% lower than B is 85 W * 0.75 = 63.75 W.
Thus, C has 36.25% lower power consumption than A.
And, if there were 10 generations, each 10% less power consumption than the last, the 10th would have 61.258% lower than the 1st, not even close to 99%.

As fast ss technology is produced, adoption is still slow. Some chipsets was introduced 2 years prior but never adopted until this year. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is the exception, but it's only because it uses existing architecture. Hopefully, this will change in coming years. But I doubt it'll take as fast as they are produced.

only 15 % jump in GPU performance is barely enough. ARM will lose even more compared to Qualcomm GPUs. No wonder MediaTek tries to collab with NVIDIA.

samsung will never take advantage over this, advertising s23u good for gaming but in real test its even behind sd8+ gen 1 from other brands like xiaomi because of bad cooling system but no popular reviewers mention about this xD
