PorkHotdog, 30 May 2023I wouldn't pay more than €300 for a Chinese phoneThat is actually a compliment for chinese brands, as Apple devices for 300$ don't exist and Samsung devices are crap at this price range.

P.S.: it is funny, isn't it? only samsung and apple aren't chinese. and even those two brands produce their phones mainly in china. when will those "china is crap"-trolls realize that they have no other choice than buying chinese phones and that without china smartphone technology would be at 90s level? no 5g, no good cameras etc...

Aierlan, 30 May 2023Seems unlikely that this is the official price. It would be... moreThey'll probably lower the 13 Pro price since it's been out for a while

I think it's a bit expensive phone due to the kind of software it carries (MIUI).

However its camera is very good.

For 95%+ of people, depending on your budget:

        0- cca 200$/€ - whatever you like
200$/€ - first Iphone (not SE)- Google/Samsung(depending on whats available where you live)
        Above that - Iphone

For the rest, the techies, depends on what you need, SD card, audio Jack, .... But you probably know your choice already

Its simple. No way is this gonna sell good for this price

Seems unlikely that this is the official price. It would be very strange if Xiaomi priced it below the Xiaomi 13 pro. I guess the official price will be higher than this.

Feature phones are selling in less numbers as prices increase, all hail the midrange phone.

€200 below the official price from xiaomi.
Sign of low interest and these stores just want to get rid of it quickly.

SShock, 30 May 2023And probably next to zero support, just like with all Chine... moreWhat do you mean by support? Software support? Customer support? Replacement hardware support? If it is the first one, I've heard Oppo is faster than Samsung at updates.

I wouldn't pay more than €300 for a Chinese phone

The recently launched 7a has an endurance rating of less than 80h and according to many reviews online it is taking around 3 hours to charge. The only thing good about Pixel phones is the camera.

If its 1299€ with some preorder goodies like they did last time, such as the robot cleaner, it isnt that bad, otherwise id just go samsung anyway

i'd never return to samsung, they become so boring with almost no upgrades year after year

It's cheaper than previously rumored but for what? Haters will still look for bad things.

SShock, 30 May 2023And probably next to zero support, just like with all Chine... moreWhat Chinese phone do you have? I'm using Redmi released in 2021 until now it's still getting security and android updates until 2024. But what am I saying, Haters are sick of hearing this and can't believe it

SShock, 30 May 2023And probably next to zero support, just like with all Chine... moreI think it's much worse now, you get no support, quality is still questionable, availability is also and they still spy on users for no reason. Huawei and Xiaomi are the worst offenders, because their prices are also higher than Samsung, absurd. I think LG left the mobile business at the worst time, just when Chinese manufacturers lost the plot they could have made a good comeback, like Google did with the Pixel line.

And probably next to zero support, just like with all Chinese phones. Been there, experienced that, hated it every single time to a point I'm wondering why I kept insisting with Chinese junk. Probably because the devices were cheaper. But here, it's 1300€ now and it'll still be just as bad. Chinese phones just never change.
