BlahBlah, 01 Jun 2023You had one flagship phone from Samsung which let you down ... more"You decided to buy every Chinese phone from the cheapest sites meant for sell for another market"
Oh, that's absolutely not true, I got my 2 Infinix (both Zero Ultra, just different color) phones and the one Tecno from Alza, which is crazy expensive compared to the original price of the Zero Ultra.
I'm a collector, that's my hobby, don't see the issue with it. I have my own spare money to spend, I have a job, so why not.
"1. How will you know which phone is good when you have them so many?
2. How can you help this community when you don't use the same phone on daily basis for longer then what, 6 months if that? You have how many of them? 20 -30 phones right?"
Easy, I go back and forth between them. I don't actually use a phone for nowhere near as long as you mentioned, or at least not continuously. I usually use one for a week and then I get bored with it and switch to another one of mine.
Yes, I do own more than 30 working smartphones. However, these are the only ones that I switch between:
- vivo X Note (current main, The Beast, will stay as main continuously for a long time)
-Infinix Zero Ultra (previous main, my fastest charging phone, huge oled display, very unique design)
-vivo iQOO 5 Pro (the BMW phone, first ever phone with more than 100W charging)
-vivo X51 (gimbal main camera)
-Tecno Camon 18 Premier (gimbal ultrawide, best battery life of all of mine, sadly flat display, I prefer curved)
Retired:
OnePlus 7T Pro (very good, but the 855+ paired with only 90hz is too slow for me after my other phones, weirdly enough I don't think the same of my vivo X51 with a 765G paired with 90hz)
Anyways, I'm thankful for your comment. Hopefully my duo of comments helped to understand my case a little bit more and maybe, hopefully in the future I can be helpful to this community, until that point, I'm just gonna talk about my experiences and voice my opinion as free as anybody else could. If you have anymore questions towards me, PLEASE, feel free to ask me. Thank you again.

BlahBlah, 01 Jun 2023You had one flagship phone from Samsung which let you down ... moreYou misunderstood me big time. Sure, the S8 did let me down with the WI-FI issues it had, but that could've been a one-off, I ain't mad at that.
What I don't like is many people saying, that oh it's so awesome to have Samsung stores and service centers everywhere and warranty and such. Yeah, sure but, what's the point when this issue wasn't covered under warranty, dropping my phone and breaking it also not under warranty, if water would've killed my technically water resistant S8, fix also not covered under warranty, same as it is with every other brand I know, but then Samsung having their official stores everywhere isn't an advantage.
And where is the S8 now? I still have it and it works, being currently used as storage and an alarm clock. So if it still works, why didn't I keep it as my main? Well, software. The same reason why everyone loves Samsung is one of the biggest reasons why I dislike them. I absolutely loved Samsung Experience UI, so when I got the One UI update, I tried to get used to, but couldn't and the more different phones I use, the more I dislike One UI. When I go from my vivo (Origin OS) to my other vivo which has FunTouch OS, then to my Infinix, I recognize everything, even though they are very different, on One UI, those childish way too colorful icons I just can't recognize. My personal issue? Sure, of course, but that's exactly why I don't buy Samsung.
However the biggest deal breaker for me, the fact that they don't come with a charger, but even if they did, it would be only 25W, that's too slow for me, but again, if
the S23 Ultra had 120W charging, I still wouldn't buy it, because I don't like their software either, or their design language.
I'm not mad at Samsung, but there is nothing I like about them when it comes to their phones. Everything else they make, I can recommend to anyone, but their phones, naah.

Anonymous, 30 May 2023most likely those "sealed" phone been tampered, o... moreI don't think so, but even if that was true, doesn't make the situation better, as it was just a customer who brought the phone to the store I work at to get a screen protector and a case for the phone.
Sure, if this was a wide spread issue, we would hear about it way more, but I for example have never seen or heard of brand new sealed phones having an issue anything like this.
Aside from this situation that happened once, their A series phones feel horrible, I'm not a strong person at all, but I can easily push the rear of those in and that big gap on the A54 between the screen and the side of the phone.. like what even is that, I have only ever seen such gap on ultra cheap phones, not something that costs about 450-500 usd.

/sYou had one flagship phone from Samsung which let you down and now you been hating on Samsung because you're mad at them. Every brand has its faulty models. Every year we have faulty models in every brand and yet they are selling well. Why? Because there is not many of those cases. And now what? You decided to buy every Chinese phone from the cheapest sites meant for sell for another market.
1. How will you know which phone is good when you have them so many?
2. How can you help this community when you don't use the same phone on daily basis for longer then what, 6 months if that? You have how many of them? 20 -30 phones right?
I've had every major brand in my almost 15 years of using a touchscreen smartphones, from Chinese, to Taiwanes, Japanese, S. Korean or American and they all had some kind of issue. Not a big deal, but still. Every phone has bugs from time to time. Even the "holy grale" of iOS in iPhones.

DarlingYext, 31 May 2023But think of all the upgrades!! /sSamsung's chipset, motherboard or battery will go kaput way before you could enjoy those long update period. Also they do other shenanigans like the camera quality downgrade after updates. Samsung is probably most aggressive on planned obsolescence after POCO.
