CargoJoe, 02 Jun 2023Poor Nokia not living up the hype anymore. Heck I don'... moreNokia can strike so hard with a flagship phone. Just imagine the headlines, "Nokia returns to the flagship market with Nokia 1 Pro Max Ultra", it'll be a hype train without any marketing budget. I don't know why they just willingly refuse to, the budget market turns more and more irrelevant with how big the price/performance gap between the budget phones and the used or refurbished flagships is :/

Atleast make a flagship Nokia lumia 1050 ... nobody wants this budget junk

Did they just said Helio P22 and Snapdragon 662? Actually weird chipsets to use in 2023 but glad they finally moved on from SC9863A. Even though I don't know if Qualcomm and MediaTek still actually gives support to this chipset. But still, the pricing is really horrible. In Indonesia, with ~$99-$139 I actually can get something better (when I said something I mean I can get a bigger RAM, double storage, newer & faster processor, etc.).

Why can't they just close the the thing ? This nokia is sure shot failure rather than possible except for first 3 phones. Or it is black money getting circulated through this kind of things.

Nokia and Motorola are both grandparents of smartphone and resurrected by different entities (HMD Global and Lenovo respectively)...

They have different plans and priorities recently.. Clearly Motorola / Lenovo is trying its best to be relevant especially the recent Razr & Razr+ announcement.

But Nokia / HMD Global give us this thing, I dunno maybe another one will bites the dust in few years like what happen to Blackberry.

How is it possible to make phones these bad? Nokia must spend more on research of how to make the purposefully worst possible phones than actually releasing a good one.

Poor Nokia not living up the hype anymore. Heck I don't even know what their business strategy is.

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2023great lets some western and india use this crapThey are USA only

kramark, 02 Jun 2023We're almost halfway 2023 and still Android 12 out of ... moreWe are just in the middle* June- month number 6! And HMD still in 2012

Brilliant phones. Decent specs for a truly reasonable price. Not everybody in this world affords a flagship. Nokia rules. 25 years later.

I'm still struggling to understand HMDs strategy.... To me, their business looks pointless.

Such a great device, however I think S23 Ultra is better

We're almost halfway 2023 and still Android 12 out of the box?! WTH, HMD?

Honestly its a good phone either or another for elderly people, small kids and those who cant afford much.
Since Xiaomi is not selling in USA at all this will sells well.
Even more after 3 minths period when they get cheaper by 20-30 dollars.
Not everybody needs a 1500 eur apple 600 eur pixel 7A or 300 eur Motorola G82.

This company is literally producing the worst type of e-waste... The fact that we still haven't moved on from A53 cores being used in phones SAYS a lot about the industry.
