Nothing Phone (2) renders show a more rounded design, dual camera setup

The Phone (1) had squared sides and a flat glass panels, but it was smaller too. The renders also show changes to the Glyph interface lights on the back.

    Some people don't care about telephoto (or cameras in general) so it may be fine for them.

My second preference is actually top right of the display. Phone manufacturers often use the punch hole for the light sensor and when I'm playing games in landscape mode it often blocks the sensor and causes the screen to brighten and dim unless I turn off auto brightness.

              This whole device hinges on the actual price. There is fierce competition in the flagship/flagship killer space right now and using the SD8+Gen 1 SoC is def going to take some points off this device...

                Anonymous, 05 Jun 2023Middle punch hole 🙄People don't like that compared to the alternatives? I wish under-display selfie cameras came to market and did not have the faults that they currently do, but until then, a punch hole selfie camera in the middle makes the most sense to me.

                  Difference between 13 and 25 is mininal compared to 25 and 60-70.
                  Digital zoom does not compensate. It damages quality.
                  It prevents you to shoot real 4K beyond 1x and gives you upscaled from 1080p at any other focal length, it is low quality.

                          Nothing claimed that they wanted to create products that were pure instinct and brought joy back to the everyday, but maybe they just wanted to create products that were pure imitation and brought lawsuits back to the courtroom. Nothing's slogan is "It costs nothing to dream", but maybe it should be "It costs nothing to copy". Because that's what Nothing does: it copies Apple.

                            Let's see. 6.7 inches, FHD+ 120hz, dual 50MP cameras, 4500mAh battery. Stock Android with 4 years of update and support. Nothing UX with Glyphs, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and dustproof plus splash resistant. Sounds like a no nonsense phone to me. Too bad they didn't fit a 3x but baby steps. Maybe in Nothing Phone 3.

It seems l... morebasically its run by the cofounder of oneplus, who left when oneplus stopped being what they used to. Its noteworthy because nothing is bringing something different to the smartphone space, while oneplus fades off as a company of rebranded oppo devices.
